I liked Impact Wrestling opening the show with a match, but the problem with Thursday's show was that we didn't get another match for at least another 40 minutes or so!
They still have a long way to go in terms of balancing promos with wrestling. Promos are needed in pro wrestling to an extent, but do we really need a 10+ minute segment with Immortal every week? Like this past week, was that long ass segment with Foley and Hogan/Bischoff really needed? And if it was, did it really need to be 10-12 minutes?
With this new "Wrestling Matters" campaign, people are going to be much harder on the product they see, and for good reason. Impact Wrestling hasn't really delivered on their promise yet, granted it has only been two weeks. If you really want to up the ratings, then give the people what they freakin' watch for: Wrestling. I love promos as much as anyone but all of the mic time TNA gives Hogan and Bischoff every week is absolutely ridiculous.
