Unless they're Legends Like Everest, David Cougar or Steamboat Ricky I don't think using past character's image reps is a problem.

I am of course using TBK as my reasoning. He uses Christian as his image rep who was also used by former Mayhem Champion Chris Jones.

I remember CM Punk being a highly sort-after rep image back in the day when I was on creative. I believe I told Shotaro to pick a different rep because Steamboat, during his latest run, picked CM Punk for a short time. Then someone else wanted to use CM Punk's pic when we greenlighted Shotaro to use it, and someone applied with his rep and got pissy because they couldn't use it.

Anyone else who used Lesnar or Cena were people/characters who didn't stick around for long.
