If Ron Paul loses, we RIOT!

I have never been a big fan of Jon Stewart, but for this, I love him to death. Thank you Jon Stewart for this.

Guys like Jesse Ventura, & Glen Jacobs (Kane) are both vocal fans of Ron Paul. Love or hate this guy, he's putting up big numbers that 4 years ago got people in his possition interviews everywhere and a huge spotlight shown on him. But here, the godfather of the Tea Party movement, the guy who after 12 terms in office is the only one to spend more than 1 term in office without breaking a campaign promise or compromising what he's stated he stands for, and no one wants to talk about him!? REALLY!?

After what happened with CM Punk at MITB, I'm getting a custom bumper sticker made for my car reading: "If Ron Paul loses, we RIOT!"

This is way beyond my not voting for a person because I refuse to endorse the lesser of two evils. This is to the point of the idiots in office are ruining everything so they can continue being stupid. I'm fed up with it, and here's a guy that actually uses reason, not whim to determine his choices and stands for the same principles our founding fathers stood for when they made this friggin country, and no one wants to talk about him? BS I say.

Listen, I like Ron Paul and if I get around to registering to vote before the primaries, I'll probably vote for him. But we all know his policies are just too radical to be taken seriously.

Look what's been going on with the Tea Party and how nuts people go over them because they want to cut domestic spending. They just passed a bill that would add 7 trillion dollars of debt over 10 years (instead of 10 trillion) and people called the cuts made draconian. It's only in Washington where people consider increasing your debt by a smaller amount as a cut in spending.

Even if Paul wins the primary, there is virtually no chance he wins the general election, and even if he wins the general election, there is no way he's going to get members of congress to pass his radical cuts in spending.

The system is far too entrenched in it's current state and politicians just want to keep saying 'yes' to whatever their constituents demand.

Paul Ryan proposed a serious budget that would help solve our debt issue (albeit in a very long time) and that was ravaged by people on the left (and even some on the right since he dared to address medicare), but Ron Paul's plan would make Ryan's look like socialism.

The fact is that when Ron Paul talks in generalities about freedom and small government many people love him, but when he gets into specifics about what he wants to cut, only a handful of people are willing to support him.

Me, I dislike Ron Paul and what he stands for (but not his consistency and his uncompromising attitude, not at all), and dislike the Tea Party bandwagon a hell of a lot more.

But I also dislike unfairness, and Ron Paul seems to be getting it in spades, ever since I first became aware of the guy in 2008, when Obamamania swept everything in its path. Then again, once the mainstream of American society gets behind something, they really shoot down anybody seen to be deviating from it, from Ignatius Donnelly on down.
