If Jericho & Ziggler fight over the MiTB Case...

I'm going to completely go down the route of assumption I was making on Sunday, simply from something my own Father pointed out to me.

As soon as Cena got that Briefcase on Sunday night, the shock on his one face at first was one to behold. Then, Booker T went on to say something along the lines of;

"But, DID YOU SEE HOW CLOSE JERICHO GOT TO IT?!". Now I'm assuming they mean the part where he was dangling from the case, but it just the way he said it and his exclamation that went along with it. Now, if Cena was meant to win right there & then, we don't know. Something went wrong & the match ended the slightest bit abrupt.

So I had it in my head that Jericho was meant to win all along, but didn't. I know it sounds like bullshit, but its just my train of thought.

Anyways, if he faces Ziggler, as much as we all would want to see Ziggler go over him, I wouldn't be surprised if Jericho finally gets his "moment", 'cos his career could possibly end up being on the line in this match, winning the WHC Contract. That way, he could get in the head of Sheamus who eliminated him last from the Royal Rumble, maybe becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. OR, Jericho wins the Briefcase, but then finally caves in to Ziggler's pressue & puts it back on the line again, losing it.

Call me mad, its just my thoughts.

Why do people keep thinking the ending of the Raw MITB was messed up? I think it happened exactly the way it was supposed to.

I think it will be interesting to watch Ziggler and Jericho feud over the briefcase. Ziggler has long been atrocious in the ring, it will be interesting to see how he does with a great hand like Jericho. If Ziggler keeps fucking up even with someone like Jericho, then he clearly won't be ready to be champion. But if Jericho can pull some decent work out of Ziggler, then I can see Ziggler becoming champion within the next year or two.

Exactly, just the way that Cena v Sheamus table match was supposidly 'messed up'. It wasn't and the match ended the way it was supposed to.

I think Cena was meant to win all along, maybe the handle wasn't supposed to break but he was gonna win there anyways either by making Big Show fall off the ladder or the way it happened but I'm certain Cena was supposed to win at that moment. I think it went off perfectly Cena winning and it was nice to see something different for the win, the handle breaking off was a nice touch.

I think Ziggler and Jericho will definitely be feuding and probably over the briefcase. Great way to help build Ziggler on his way to the WHC in my opinion. Jericho is an amazing worker and will do all he can to put Ziggler on that next level. Should be an interesting feud to watch.

Just a question then; Can anyone see, what with Ziggler saying Jericho is losing his touch, telling him if he wants the briefcase so badly, to put his career on the line?

Can we see Ziggler forcing Jericho out?

Dolph Ziggler is probably going to win and WWE will use the same route they used two years ago with Jericho amazed how he lost his touch and leaving to find some personal help. He gets back, fails miserably as he always does in the first PPV, but then he can actually have a decent match at WrestleMania and retire.

Who should he put over at Mania, you may ask... My answer is Wade Barrett.

You're trying to tell me Cena winning wasn't the idea? What's next? Ziggler undersells?

Isn't putting the case on the line a really stupid decision? What benefit is it to Ziggler if Jericho puts his career or anything else on the line? It's not like ending Jericho's career is much of a push anymore. Maybe he does it for money or free Lite-Brite jackets but I don't see what benefit of ending Jericho's career is worth the risk of losing the case.

Soary Canada. No hard feelings, eh?

If they wanted Jericho to win, they would've made Jericho win. They won't have been saying 'Oh, he didn't get the case down on that particular attempt. Fuck it, let's go with Cena now'. No. If the match was supposed to finish at that point then the guys would simply have made it finish later at another point. They aren't going to call something like that, no mattter how under-prepared they may have been, in the actual ring.

I would be interested in seeing Jericho feuding with Ziggler for the case, only because I don't put much stock in Ziggler and Jericho is a guy I think can potentially pull something out of him in an important feud. I love how easy it is to turn veterans face, all Jericho did was start using a few old catchphrases, crack the odd joke and Codebreaker Mr. Ziggles, and now he's pretty much face. Been a long time since we've had face Jericho but he's been very successful at it in the past, so it's always interesting to see where it leads.
