50 Years in 50 Weeks​

Okay, a new idea I came up with. I e-mailed D-Man earlier lamenting the fact that I think all of my best WZ brainstorms have come in the last month. The Wrestlezolympics, The Decade Essay Contest, and now the Time Machine.

Starting the first week of January, I will randomly select a year between 1960-2009 each week for the entire year. At the start of that week, the "Time Machine" will take us to that year and I will post a thread in Wrestling, Music, Movies and TV, The Cigar Lounge, and Sports that looks back at the major events from that year. From there, we can all get nostalgic and discuss the importance of those events, which events were more important, how they shaped our culture, how they changed the landscape of pro wrestling, etc.

I think it will be a lot of fun and we'll all learn a lot.

Each week is a year, and of each 7 day week, 5 days will see different posts. I might do Music on Sunday, Wrestling Monday, TV Tuesday, Cigar Lounge Thursday, and Film Friday.

I am doing 50 weeks 'cause I won't be posting when I am in North Carolina or away for my anniversary. (weird saying that!)
