Ian Van Dahl is popular electronic dance techno group formed in Belgium. They've seen success on both pop and techno charts in both the United States and in Europe. The first song I ever heard from them was Castles in the Sky, which is arguably their most well known song, which got me hooked on them.

Try (The album version is great, it starts out slow, then it gradually intensifies)

Their sound is similar to Alice Deejay, a bit more intense in some area's, but not as much as a VNV Nation or a Daft Punk though. Electronic, but not Industrial.

I used to listen to Ian Van Dahl a long time ago, and their songs still get remixed in to the music that I listen to today. Will I is one of my all time faves, the uplifting trance rush gave me and still does give me the tingles. They were around at the times over dance artists were around, groups like Lasgo,ATB,Fragma,Darude,Chicane all made very similar tunes. Castles in the sky will be the one that everybody will remember but its not the best they've done
