Dazed and Confused
That is quite a statement i know, but since he has been in TNA i think they have used him in just the right way, he has been in Japan and honed his inring skills a bit more and is looking good in the ring. I mean i really enjoyed the match he has with Kaz last week on impact, he is impressing me more and more by the day.

Anyone else come round to liking him yet?

I have liked the move with him being the "guy with the toy belt in the background" I have always liked him as a wrestler that acts as a bodyguard or enforcer for a good heel and thus getting some of the rub on him for heat. I sense that Tomko and AJ Styles are going face with the recent win at No Surrender and going against Team Pacman at Bound for Glory. Tomko is a good enforcer but doesn't need time to talk or do anything rather than just stand there and enforce. I just have a funny feeling that Matt Morgan is going to replace Tomko as "Christian's enforcer".

I prefer the bodyguard angle that he does, but he won't be good as a stand alone character. Tomko is a very good role character, which people seem to have a problem with this year. The character doesn't need to speak, or doesn't need to be the most fine tuned in the ring, he is there as protection for Christian Cage, plain and simple. Christian does all of the talking, AJ does the technical and high spots in the match, and Tomko is the ground and pounder. I think TNA has used Tomko tremondously to this point. Sure, he's one dimensinal, but as stated above he doesn't need multiple dimensions because he isn't being asked to carry a division, he is being asked to be a bodyguard.

I loved Tomko in TNA, in WWE i didn't really like him to much but he's impressed me a lot so far. Him, Cage, and AJ are hilarious together and Tonko in ring is alot better then his days in WWE and he makes the perfect "I don't know why I do this but I do it anyway type guy" as he offsets AJ's over willingness to bend to Cage's every whim and there tag teaming is really good also.

Tomko is fantastic. He is a bit vanilla on his own, but he is perfect for the role he is in. He's a good enough wrestler and his dry and serious personality just meshes so well with Christian and AJ. Love 'em.

My thoughts exactly, I love how everytime Tomko looks like he's going to speak the camera will cut away from him.

Hah, funny you mention that, my friend and I were talking about how everyone in that Styles/Tomko vs Sting/Abyss match had a nickname and seemingly everyone in TNA does except Tomko...we came up with a stupid angle where he mentions that to cornette and then next week on impact "Toy Belt Tomko" XD

I am eager to watch Tomko's growth from here on out.

i like tomko when he was even with wwe, i thought it was hilarious when hed be the guy trying to stop christian from doing stupid things

i was even dissapointed when he was released from wwe even when christian was gone, i thought it would have been a chance for him to break out on his own but since hes been in tna ive liked him even more and think he gets better week after week

I like Tomko too but I disagree with the idea that he should stick to the role he is now. If Batista can be a star then anybody is capable of being a star. Right now Tomko is playing that same role Batista played in Evolution and Tomko can use that to catapult him in tna. Maybe a main-eventer one day but I would like to see him in an important mid-card role.
Maybe TNA will soon get a midcard title like a "middleweight" championship which could prove to be major for the careers of people like Tomko, Roode, and Storm. Also, it could give Killings some direction since he's all over the place.

I liked Tomko before, with the way he was always quiet and never trying to make himself a target but I really started to like him Thursday when Robert Roode told what's-her-face that he "owned her" and Tomko got in his face.

i would like tomko if he breaks apart from the Instant Classic! christian cage. he would do a lot better singles and could challenge for the belt maybe

nah Aj would be the one to do better as he was an established star before Cage even had a last name(meaning since he was in TNA) and you know that's were they are headed which will then put AJ back into the heavyweight title picture, or maybe a feud with Angle as them feuding would rock as long as AJ is face.

The fact that Tomko plays off of Christian is what makes him so good. The chemistry the two of them have together is unreal. I think TNA has a really good thing going with the Christian Coalition and I am hopeful that they will run with it.

having them together is just like wwe. needs to get away from it atleast in some aspect. idk im sure im wrong because well ive only started watching tna just recently

Nah- it's cool. Everyone's got their own opinion. I'm in love with good factions and I think the Coalition kicks some serious ass! Just keeping watch TNA and maybe you'll change your mind.
