Horrible Movie Alert!

I was a bit worried when I heard Seth Rogen was in it, not that I don't find him funny, but it's not really a funny part. And nobody was ever gonna step into the shoes of Bruce Lee so I'm not suprised there. Thanks for the heads up.

Really? That's really, really disappointing :(

Was it horrible because of poor 3D, or is the movie itself horrible?

Tron: Legacy was my last hope for 3D movies. They will never make one that uses 3D well, even when presented with the perfect opportunities.

So, discounting the 3D, would the movie itself be worth a rent? Or is it The Last Airbender?

yeah if I were going to go see it, it wouldn't have been in 3D anyway, I fucking hate 3D with a passion, general rule of thumb if a movie needs a gimmick like 3D to sell tickets, then it's prolly not that good of a movie to begin with, and therefore not worth seeing

That 3D bullshit gives me a headache. Green Hornet is another of those movies that it wasn't filmed with the special 3D cameras but rather just had the effect added after filming.

You're doing it wrong, Doug. Just answer my question - As a movie itself, ignoring the 3D failure, was it at least fun? Or is it like The Last Airbender, and shit all around?

I enjoyed Green Hornet for what it was. It's nothing spectacular, but it's has its moments.

There really is ZERO need for it to be in 3D.

I saw it for free, so I'm not complaining.

I had no interest in watching the Green Hornet without Bruce Lee, especially when it was turned into just another comedy. I am sure it is fine, but my love for the television series as it was would ruin any chance of me enjoying it.

Pretty sure the studio was expecting to it be one of the higher grossing movies of the year, Green Hornet looks like the type of movie that will do ok in the theater and get alot more attention once it hits blu-ray and DVD

If I can find a theatre that will show GH in 2D, then I'll go see it. If not, I'll wait until it reaches Walmart's $5 box. I'm a fan of Seth Green and I'm actually kind of eager to see if he can tackle a serious role. But I love watching horrible movies, so if it's anything like The Happening or dare I say Last Airbender, then I'll find quite a bit of humor in the shitty quality that you guys are all saying it has.

LOL.

Seth Rogan is nothing close to serious in this flick.

There has been very few proper 3D movies made, Avatar is one of the few that was actually designed for 3D rather than it being added by doing the really crappy thing that they did for Clash of the Titans, which is a shit movie as well, but it is a good example of the shit method of 3D. However Alice in Wonderland and A Christmas Carol were both pretty damned good in 3D.
