Well, on the PPV website, it says it's a normal Triple Threat Match. So, that's what I'm going with. Regardless, the PPV looks like it's going to be a damn good one with the two main event HIAC matches (with a third one possibly coming from Friday Night Smackdown) and two awesome looking undercard matches.
I like the way this has been building between Kofi and Miz in the last couple weeks on TV. The swerve of Jack Swagger staking his claim to the title throws a monkey wrench into what I thought would be a one on one match. If I'm a betting man, I would say that Swagger was thrown in just to be the fall guy. But then again, I could be wrong. I've been impressed with the work Miz has done since coming to Raw as I honestly thought he'd sink without Morrison. Shows how much I know. Kofi's Kofi. He hits more often than he misses, but when he misses, you notice. And to be honest, I think Swagger is a decent enough wrestler to have the U.S. Championship on Raw. In the end, I'm predicting a (Howard Finkel announcement) NEEEEEEW United States Champion: THE MIZ.
The way the PPV looks right now, I'm definitely giving it a buy and not waiting for the DVD. Congrats, Vince. You got me to buy 2 $40 PPVs in 17 months.
