Backstory

Vince McMahon is a shrewed buisnessman. He took wrestling from small, local territories to being a global phenominon. However, his decision to take the WWE and make it PG drew criticism, both internally and from the fans. Seeing their point, but unable to go back on his decision Vince authorised the creation of a subsiduary company technically owned by WWE, but with no input other than financially. At the same time he stepped aside as CEO and chairman of the board to an 'executive consultant' position affording him plenty of influence, lots of time off and minimal responsibility.

Stephanie McMahon took his place as head of the global juggernaut that is WWE. The newly created company was placed into the custody of one Jon Stevens, who selected a team to help him run the new company as well as a roster. He was not allowed to take any major stars (WWE's biggest draws were considered to important to lose) but he selected a number of wrestlers with whom he was happy, and so the Global Wrestling Association was born.

I like the concept idea of using a lot of the mid-card workers and pushing them into the main event and it should be an interesting read if the time can be taken to create shows. Although the name is extremely close to one of the older BT's in here, that one is defunct so hopefully no complaints there. I also see an interesting tag team within your roster where neither member are currently in one. I won't say as you might have plans for them.

Meh, I was really strugling to think of a name, hence the genericness of it. And I think I know which former team you're talking about. Though, there are a few listed who are former team players, and I can reveal that I do have plans for future teams who aren't listed just yet.

Thanks for wishing me luck. I certainly hope this BTB lasts longer than my NXT one, which I had plans for, but never got around to.
