I just got done watching ECW's storied first PPV event Barely Legal, from the spring of '97. Overall I thought it was a solid night of grappling action. I liked how they saved the extreme/bloody stuff until the end. The end of the PPV had me feeling the feel-good emotion of Terry Funk winning the World Title at age 53, and celebrating with his friend Tommy Dreamer. That in my mind is one of the marks of a great wrestling show.
All things considered, I'll give the show a B. How about you guys?
