Jim Ross wrote the following on Twitter today about why Brock Lesnar has returned to WWE:

"Brock Lesnar is back in WWE to: 1 intimidate 2 brutalize 3 earn BIG money NOT to 1 work on public speaking skills 2 make friends 3 lose"

"Fans that naively think that money & being able to physically dominate people didn't affect Lesnar's return to WWE aren't being honest. Word"

And that right there is a man telling it like it is, in 140 characters or less each.

He evokes respect my man. For many reasons:

A. He is THE best play by play commentator. When guys like Stone Cold, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes endorse the man, he has got to be good. I mean, even if they didn't endorse him I'd still think he is the best. Some of the best Attitude Era soundbites come from this man. He is iconic in his field.

B. His ailment garners him sympathy. And after what Rusoo and Ferrara did with Oklahama, he had the whole world in his corner. Even with a disease that causes mild speech impairment, he still goes out there and calls a match like HBK vs Undertaker at WM 25. I can never forget how JR sold HBK kicking outta the tombstone. Epic.

C. Everyone likes BBQ sauce.

Geez, I wonder if he's employed with them? I wonder. A mystery perhaps. Go thrash your employer in public and see how long they continue paying you, tell me how you get on.

Please don't let this lead to a segment where Lesnar pulls guest commentator Ross in to the ring and makes him beg for his safety because of Ross' "harsh" words about Brock.

Are the WWE in OK anytime soon?

Wasnt there a decision made recently about combat sports in OK that could mean WWE couldnt go there?? Who cares, nobody messes with JR ever since Kane lit him on fire and they found out he's the terminator! Correction, the guy above me knows better, apologies!

Just because he doesnt comment on negative news stories doesnt make him a coward, it makes him intellegent, they sign the check! I believe it was God that said "man cannot live on BBQ sauce alone! Kayfabe doesnt neccesarily mean not true, as many characters/stories are just exagerations on the truth. If Bork hadnt have gotten that condition he would have stayed in MMA, the guy acftually enjoys kicking ass! There was an inteview before when he said he would simply go out so that someone would start a fight with him! He cant do the MMA any more, so he takes the paycheck and a job that he's good at. I cant see how that can be thrown off as kayfabe just because it was said in a promo.

JR doesnt just tell it like it is, its the other way around, the universe does what JR tells it to!

OR, maybe Jim Ross isn't omniscient, and sometimes he doesn't actually know all of the details, because it's no longer his job to know all of them.
