Gold Rush Tournament Official Announcement!

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! This is Miss Hardwood, and you may not know me, but I've been Mr. Banks's right-hand woman for a while now, and I'm here with a very special announcement concerning Gold Rush! This year's tournament will feature sixteen wrestlers, with the first two rounds taking place before Gold Rush, and then the semi-finals and finals taking place at the pay-per-view itself!

Without further ado, let's get to the matches!

This coming week's Meltdown will feature the King For A Day winner, Noah Ryder, taking on none other than the mandroid, S.H.I.T.! At Apocalypse, Abel Hunnicutt was eliminated by the surprise partner on Team Kickass, Matt Tastic. This week's Meltdown's main event will see them face off in a battle to settle the score!

Ascension is not without its own tournament matches, however! First, tag team partners at Apocalypse square off, as The "Magnificent" M takes on Vee A.D.Z.! One of their opponents in that eight-man tag match, Kagura Daikonran, will be taking on the world's healthiest man, Flex Mussel!

I hear you though! There's still eight more competitors to be named! Hang tight! Here they are!

Next week's Ascension will see the rookie Anthony Mancini taking on the most gentlemanly of them all, elegANT! elegANT's partner, The Beard is also going to be in the tournament, seeking another opportunity at WZCW gold, as he takes on Garth Black!

Ramparte will represent the Unholy Trinity in the tournament, taking on a surprise opponent that my boss guarantees will bring the fight to the "Holy Ghost"! Logan McAllister is out for singles glory now, after doing away with former partner Eddie Romero, and will be taking on the surprise of last year's Gold Rush tournament, Veejay!

Pool A

This is quite an interesting pool as anyone of these can go on to win. All four are capable of getting their A game so my predictions don't mean the others are bad.

Ryder v SHIT
Hunnicutt v Tastic

Both will nip it, Tastic v Hunnicutt may well be the closest of the round. I can see Hunnicutt nipping it and Tastic going after yours truly.

Poll B

Interesting pool for this one. Again all four will be close but I can see M and Flex really bringing it. The other two will as well but damn.

Pool C

I think Milenko wants this more than Thriller and Garth Black's whole schtick is for this tournament at the minute. Though a elegANT victory would be interesting as The Beard is his partner and Tasty has RP'd against him a million times.

I'm assuming Diabolos is the mystery person, Red Skull can bring his game but it'll be interesting to see Ramparte take this. Veejay is unlucky as Logan has his face turn and is on form at the minute.

This is a close one but Hunnicutt has been the most consistent of the two. Victory is his.

Pool B

M v Flex.

Flex will embrace the element or RPing against a wacky opponent. I'll give him the nod here.

Mancini v Garth Black.

Black here.

Ramparte v Logan

This will be a great match with the trinity v a new face but I'm going with Ramparte with this one.

Semi finals

Hunnicutt v Flex

I think Flex will take this one but it'll be close for sure.

Black v Ramparte

I'm going with Black here because I really don't want to see another Cerberus linked match. We need to get over them. I think Black will step up his game against a former Cerberus member and his frustration against the three of them previously will work.

That being said if Ramparte wins this he'll defeat Flex setting up a potential v Zeus which would be awesome.

Flex v Black.

I think Flex will nip this one, it depends what sort of mood Tasty is in really but Black is for the taking.
