Going to the beach so I got some books

is losing his edge
I based my choices largely on what I've read here over the time I've spent here.

WWZ
The Informers
Swann's Way

I've also started on the series of comics called Y: The Last Man.

Y: The Last Man is great.

The Informers is great. It's BEE, so obviously it's better than 99.9% of all modern literature.

Never heard of Swann's Way.

Been meaning to read WWZ for quite awhile now, still haven't gotten around to it.

Harthan raved for a while about Marcel Proust and Swann's Way is the first part of his work In Search of Lost Time, so I figured that I'd check it out.

I'm really not a fan of Proust, so that would explain that.

I would recommend reading The Savage Detectives first. It's like nothing you've ever read before. Anyone here read Jean Paul Le Clezio? He won the Nobel Prize last year, so I'm wondering if anything of his is worth checking out.
