Yes I know the title of this subject would most likely make you think "what the hell have you been smoking for the last few hours?" at first, but hear me out.
Now first off I would like to say I don't know of the in America, the Southern Europa (except that the real southern parts have a fairly nice weather right now) the African area's and the Asian areas, so this thread is mostly a coverage of the northern Europa.
Anyway, around the days of 15-18 December 2009, Europa was heavily hit by snow, and I mean heavy, Denmark had reports of 40-50 centimeters worth of snow, and so did places such as The Netherlands and Sweden, and I believe numerous other places had too.
Denmark had their first white christmas in 14 years (common math would make the last time 1995) and degrees on an average minus throughout the last 4 months (start of December was somewhat on the edge and we've had + degrees in March by now)
Reports in January and February had Denmark freezing their ass off at 5-15 minus degrees (yes I'm whining here because I'm freezing my ass off still) and ofcourse the reports have been far worse in places like Norway and Sweden that had reports of minus 20-40 degrees (from what I was told by fellow Swedish and Norwegian friends)
Germany was also hit rather badly as far as I know
I can't exactly brag about how the landscapes are looking in the countries around Denmark as of late, but I figure it has a quite average landscape as Denmark.
Denmark still has signs of snow from the "blizzard" in december, and we have had average snowing with 2-3 weeks in between, and last Friday, we "suffered" yet another hit of 5-10 centimeters of snow.
Yes I know this thread is very Denmark concentrated, but please try to be kind and take into consideration that I'm not exactly the most informed person on this planet, by far!
So now I ask you, would you say we should be worried by the Global Warming as it looks right now and with the winter we've just had in Europa, also considering the global weather meeting in Copenhagen in 2009 (actually around the time the snowing started)
Or do you people follow my opinion when I express my quite so bold thoughts and say "Global Warming my ass!"?
