Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
Hogan is said to be a huge fan of Morgan, so I'd guess the challengers walk away with the gold here. I'm personally a big fan of the Brits, and think they're good heels, so this could lead to a decent feud, or at least give us the beginning to the Brits kicking Rob Terry's ass.

Morgan and Hernandez are a tad thrown together, but there's a thread out there on that already...I'd still like to see them with some gold.

Yeah I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest bit if Morgan and Hernandez walk away with the titles here. Both of them just aren't quite ready for the main event yet IMO. Morgan is closer than Hernandez is at this point though, if only for the very good match he had with Angle at Bound For Glory. At the same time though I wouldn't be shocked to see either of these guys turn heel and turn on their partner to set up a feud. That would actually be a pretty damn interesting feud if they were to do that.

I hope the British Invasion don't get lost in the shuffle either though NSL, both Williams and Brutus are pretty damn good in the ring. The match they had with MCMG at Final Resolution kicked all kinds of ass. This match certainly has the possibility of doing that as well if booked right.

If they're going to just put Hernandez in another team then why not just leave him in LAX? They had that whole, same race thing going one, I don't see any resemblance between him & Morgan. Other than they both have shit tattoos and they don't have what it takes to be headliners.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed Morgan and Hernandez don't win the titles. Both of them could be doing far better things being in a tag team. As much as I don't want it to happen, it most likely will. After their squash of Dr.Stevie and Raven a little while ago, it seems they're poised to hold championship gold. I also think the British Invasion is set for a break up after this if they lose.

I'm thinking that TNA is going to be doing something similar with Morgan and Hernandez like what they did when Morgan was teaming with Abyss. This is to give them matches while the main event scene becomes less crowded.... I think.... They are a cool team, but should be focusing on breaking into the main event because they have better things to do than winning tag titles when they are both above the tag division. Plus, I think that the British Invasion will keep the tag titles long enough for Nash to cash in his tag title shot.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
The British Invasion will retain the TNA Tag Team Championships.

If it is Hall that Big sexy picks as his partner, who would you rather them face? The British Invasion, who are heels, and don't have much as far as mic work? Or, the young up-and-coming faces, who aren't half bad on the mic?

I'd pick Hernandez and Morgan, especially because they'd need the rub from beating them more. The Brits, as heels, will always be hated, and in wrestling science, for whatever reason, that's enough to stay relevant.

Morgan and Hernandez need to string together big wins as a team, so that when the split happens, they're ready for the main event and/or a feud with each other.

For reasons stated above, I'm going with Morgan and Hernandez here. the Brits have held the belts for long enough while doing almost nothing with them.

It depends. I would rather see "The Band" face the British Invasion if it's for the Tag Team Championship. If it's a regular match between "The Band" and Morgan & Hernandez then I would really enjoy seeing the young guys pick up a victory over such a famous team. I just think that Morgan & Hernandez are above the Tag Team Championship at the moment, it could mess up the momentum they have towards becoming main eventers.... we'll see though.

Being in the tag division, period, slows them down big time. Winning the belts is the best case scenario for them right now, because if they lose, how can they be taken seriously in the main event, if/when they get there?

Also, if they lose, where does each man go from there? They don't have a backstory to keep them together, and they don't have any personal feuds that can be carried on. By winning the belts, the team has a purpose, and keeps them relevant until a big time main event like King Of the Mountain comes knocking.

Not necessarily. I see it as them being given something to do while the main event scene becomes less crowded. They could cut promos about how they don't care that they lost because they are above the tag team division and should be main eventing.... then win tag team matches against main eventers or something.... Turn on each other, have an upper midcard feud against one another, where the winner (probably Morgan) is the next #1 contender to the world title.... it's an idea.

Maybe.... I think they should lose this match though because they can still get a rub from defeating "The Band" or other established wrestlers later on without being tag team champs. If the British Invasion wins this, then Morgan and Hernandez can still be built up as dominant characters eventually.... I doubt the British Invasion will get much further than the tag team titles. Magnus might get a midcard title.... but this could be as good as it gets for them. They still get my pick to win this match and will likely lose (as much as I hate to say it) to "The Band" to add prestige to the belts, since Nash and Hall are such big names.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.

I dislike Hernandez, and I don't like the team of Morgan and Hernandez. Of course, if the team of Hamada and Kong can win the Knockout Titles on the first try, then Morgan and Hernandez can, too. It seems like Hogan likes Morgan and Hernandez, but I'm sure he's at least smart enough to keep the BI with the titles.

I predict that the BI will win with their finishing move, (not sure of the name), where Magnus does a bearhug, and Williams does a diving uppercut. I think that this match will go for about 9 minutes.

I wouldn't be surprised if Morgan and Hernandez win though.

Pretty much.

Furthermore, it should be the Machine Guns competing for - and arguably winning - the titles here. Instead they're relegated to losing to circus hobos in iMPACT openers while Matt Morgan and Hernandez take their spot. The match at the, uh, last pay-per-view (I still can't remember the name) was a good set-up for the Guns winning the titles here but all the storylines just dropped off the face of the planet as soon as Hogan stepped through the door.

As for the match itself, I'm sure it'll be perfectly functional. Whoever comes out as tag champions, it doesn't really make any difference to me.

Yep, I'm happy. The Brits are a good team, and I like them, but Matt Morgan finally has some gold around his waist. This was a pretty predictable match, but I don't think well hear too many grumblings about the outcome.

Morgan and Hernandez holding the belts mean we'll see them on TV every week, and hopefully get a good feud out of this. I can't be the only one slightly stoked to see them defend against the Guns, am I?
