Football OR Baseball: Our Nation's Pass Time

So I have been thinking about this for a while now. Which is the U.S.'s national pass time? Hstorically it has been baseball. But football is more popular in the U.S. The Super Bowl alone has more veiws in one game then the World Series does in 3 of it's games. But that does't make it our pass time. Football maybe more popular but baseball is more family oriented. I love football but but baseball is a game you can bring your children too. I'm not saying you can't bring them to a football game but baseball is alot less violent. I personally love football but parents don't bring young children to football games. Baseball is different. Children will tend to imitate tackaling rather then base running anyday of the week. So parents would protect them from it. But I want to here what you guys think. Baseball or Football?
