Football and Wrestling in one article.

actually the article brings up a lot of valid points. Towels have nothing to do with Pittsburgh, yet they revere it like it's fucking Jesus.

Does he mock the Steelers/fans a lot, which might lower the credibility of the article? Yes. Does the stupid fucking towel deserve mocking? HELL yes, it's overrated as fuck.

It's quite possibly overrated the way other people see it, but I gaurantee the players love it. The come out waiving their own terrible towels and motion to the fans at various points of the game to wave them as well. If it gives the players on the field even the smallest bit of added motivation, even for one play, it serves a purpose IMO.

The players get pumped the fuck up, and that's what helps win games. It just kinda stuck when Cope thought of the idea. It's our thing. Other teams have tried it, but it doesn't work as well.

Our players also get pumped up when they show that renegade video during games (mostly during defense). The black and white one. The crowd cheers and waves their towels, and it pumps them up.
