Final Peep Show series being filmed next year

For the uninitiated, its not that kind of Peep Show but rather a British comedy series with David Mitchell and Robert Webb that started off in 2003.

The last couple of seasons have been hit and miss but I'm happy to read that the show will be putting a definite end to the series rather than just the down-beat finish of season 8.

Thoughts on this/Peep Show in general?

I am glad to see it get a finale and there are some cracking quotes from early seasons but I think that it has started to drag a bit in later seasons.

I would say that the pilot and the party - "where's a puke point?!?" - are my favourite episodes.

Season 4 is probably my favourite overall season as I think all but one episode took place outside the flat and Mark's work. Plus, Jeremy eating 'Mummy' is one of the most hilarious and cringe-worthy moments I've seen.

Mark making Jeremy pee himself at the wedding was great too.

AWW MAN, the final series! It's time for it to end though. May Sophie drown in her drug-fuelled trainwreck so that Mark and Jez "adopt like a couple of gay dads". That has to be the ending. HAS TO BE.

Some of my favourite lines:

"It's a fuckin rental snake innit"

"Where's me snake, I'm gonna lose me deposit"

(In the style of Leroy Jenkins) "SUUUUPER HAAANNS"

Girl: "And Super Hans tried to sexually assault me"
Jez (playfully scolding): "Super Hans!"
Hans (calls): "Sorry!"

Super Hans about his children: "Well they were funf zwei years ago, so yeah ... reckon I got myself a pair of eighters"

"Barchester Chronicles. Ecclesiastical politics for when you're high. These guys really knew how to do a fucking number on each other"

"Fuck me, that crack is really more-ish."

I need to remember more some Johnson lines such as:

"But I don't know anything about being a management consultant"
"In. Fire 30% of the work force. New logo - boooom. Out. You are now a fully trained management consultant"

My favourite Johnson line is "The spiky balls on the end of my STICK".

Still, I'm happy to see it return for omen more series. It's been a good British TV show and definitely deserves better than it got at the end of the last series.
