Admit it. You enjoyed the hardcore title. The ludicrous matches. The 24/7 rule. The possibility of seeing all your favourite jobbers and lower-card wrestlers in the ring at the same time. Just admit it. The hardcore title was fun.

This is a thread dedicated to our favourite matches for that battered leather strap, paying tribute to big bumps, silly spots and BAW GAWD KING moments.

First one is a bit of an obvious choice. Skip to around 11 minutes for Shane O'Mac's first experience with stage sets and gravity.

Ah, going backstage, one of the true beauties of a hardcore match, simply for the variety of inanimate objects on offer. I was a fan of Raven during his WWF run, especially paired with 2 former WWF champions.
Raven goes through a window, Show and Kane go through a wall, Show and Raven go off the stage. Go Karts!

I definitely enjoyed the Hardcore title, I thought it was so entertaining when the title could change hands at any time, some of the Crash Holly 24/7 moments were brilliant!

It was never a serious title, and the matches while classed as "hardcore" were really just ridiculous rather than excessively violent, but it didnt matter to me. It gave some of the lower card guys something to do, got them on TV and alot of the former ECW wrestlers ont he WWE roster were always involved, which I liked to see.

My favourite hardcore title match is regarded as one of the best by most, Raven v Rhyno at Backlash 2001
