Excuse me a minute, while my Keven Smith fanboyism takes over, the real question you seem to be asking here is what everyone's favorite View Askewniverse movie, if you were really asking what's your favorite Jay & Silent Bob movie the list would be much shorter, seeing as in order for the movie to be a Jay & Silent Bob movie it would have to feature Jay & Silent Bob as major Characters in the movie, so with that said Chasing Amy is quickly knocked off the list, they're in a whopping one fucking scene in the whole fucking movie, for fuck sake Matt Damon gets as much screne time in this movie as they do (Yes Matt Damon is in fact in Chasing Amy), next movie to be knocked off that list would be prolly be Clerks, you could completely remove Jay & Silent Bob from that movie almost entirely and it would change next to nothing, I've seen that flick countless times, and all though they are fairly entertaining, they add almost nothing to the story what so ever, Clerks 2 could also be knocked off the list, where they are a more significant piece of the story in this movie they are still clearly supporting characters therefore technically this isn't really a Jay & Silent Bob movie, this leaves us with 3 movies, Mallrats, J&SB Strike Back, and Dogma (& I'm being very generous by including Mallrats here) Mallrats they were Supporting characters, but I feel they were a much bigger piece of this story than they were in Clerks 2, I don't think Mallrats works at all without J&SB, Dogma is really the first movie where they could be considered main characters, and J&SB Strike Back, they are obviously the main characters.
Now with all that said, if your asking me my favorite J&SB movie, then I'm going to say Dogma, funnier than hell (no pun intended), fun story, and just an all around entertaining movie, plus this is really the movie where J&SB were at their best IMO
If you're asking me what my favorite View Askewniverse movie, then I'm going to say Clerks, though Chasing Amy & Clerks 2 are both very close behind, but clerks is the movie that made me fall in love with Kevin Smith, the filmmaker, it was just a fun movie, fun story, and in there own ways I found just about very character relateable in one way or another, just a great movie, and one that no matter how many times I watch it's always an enjoyable experiance
