Favorite Way For Someone To Take A Stunner

It's one of the most famous moves of all time and there are a ton of ways to take it.

You had Rock who would more or less do a gymnast routine. You had Benoit and Tazz who would snap backwards. You had Angle who would stand up and then fall backwards. You had Vince who would kind of collapse forward. You had Hall who would JUMP. You had Brisco who would flip forwards like a snap mare. Then you had everyone else who would go off to the side.

So what's your favorite?

Simple. A way that makes the move believable.
When Hall/Rock sold the move, it didn't look right. It looked wrong. Granted, it was humorous, but it just couldn't happen. The Benoit/Tazz way is probably the best. As your neck comes down for the impact, you wouldn't be able to go anywhere except for backwards. If you were to flip into the air, land on your air and bounce off the ropes a la Rock, it's just strange at best.
If the move came back around again, I'd like to see some hard impact, and the person taking the move to hit impact, and to snap back.

The Rock and Hall's selling of it was gold.

Always loved the Rocks selling of it, even if it is way over the top.

I always thought the Rock/Hall way was pretty funny, but the way I think it should be sold is pretty much what Angle did. It's supposed to 'stun' the opponent and Angle looked pretty stunned to me.

I loved the rock sell no matter how unrealistic it was, there was one time I saw it and it looked better than any other and I'm not sure when. I think the Benoit/Tazz was is the best, but the best I saw anyone do it that was must be Jericho, just looking through clips there is one sell he does which is gold. But I think we can all agree the worst sell was the one by Vince when he gets his very first one.

Angle standing up straight, going limp, and sandbagging down to the mat always looked goofy. I loved it.

I liked how HBK ate it at the end of WM14. It just seemed more... real to me.

Benoit/ Tazz one for me. Very few people can match Benoit's selling.

Rock's was too unrealistic. I feel that overselling is just as bad as no selling no matter how good it looks.

Definitely Vinny Mac. I thought his neck was broken at least three times. The more violent looking, the better.

Absolutly love how The Rock sold the stunner, back when people just wanted things to be entertaining and didn't care if it was super realistic.

I liked Scott Hall selling for the stunner.

I liked the way Orton took it at Cyber Sunday 08. He never left his feet and the way he rolled back looked like he had some whiplash which was believable.

I like Austin's Diving Splash Pin. Kept the overselling alive till the end.

The worst I ever remember seeing was Austin's first stunner on Vince, Just Awful.

The HBK one at WrestleMania is definately the most underrated. Shawn went stiff as a surfboard as they jumped up and it made it look like a million bucks.
