I know its old now, but man, it is still addictive!

It pisses all over the gm mode in the smackdown vs raw series, but it lacks serious graphics. Its more to do with the booking and finacing a wrestling company!

Anyone else had a flutter?

I haven't played in about a year. I can only play it for a month or two before I need break.

GM mode in SvsR is terrible. I wish they'd put a game like EWR out on consoles. Where you do all the booking and stuff, plus get to do the wrestling.

The thing with EWR is i play it for like a month, really like it. The look at what im doing and realize it's boring. I end up booking in the same way for every feud.

You know, end a match with a run it, attack after handshake.

So i made a fed where i didn't have any feuds and just put on pure wrestling matches. That did improve it for me actually.

But yeah i like it, in bursts. I havn't played for about 3 months though.

I like that game a lot, but not all the time. I get sick of it after a week, then dont play it for a while after that. But sometimes I just get in the mood to play it, usually after a good show so I can recreate it with the promotion I'm using. Did you guys update all the wrestlers in the database? It's way easier making modern promotions with updated guys.

This is a good game but it does get boring after you play it for a couple weeks.I only play it every now and then. I don't get very far though as I always quit after a couple weeks. I hope later on the game improves and gets better graphics.

EWR has been one of my favorite games ever since I first discovered it, way back in 2002 I think it was. I haven't played it in a couple of years myself, (I've moved on to TEW), but I had a lot of good times with it.

Fun game.

I was totally addicted to it when I first found out about it, but it lacks any serious replay value and starts to get a little boring. I still play it on occasion, though it's usually for no longer than an hour or so.

Here Comes The Pain! is the only wrestling related game I still play frequently.

I've played the game in it's many different versions since 2002 - infact I think it's responsible for me getting low school grades!! haha, back in the day it was soo addictive!! I think I went from 2002 to 2009 in one game where I was WWE and all sorts of shit went down..I think the game hits its peak for everybody though and after that it just gets boring very fast..Like has already been said in this thread - it comes back in short bursts but gets boring after a week or so..What is TEW by the way??

Total Extreme Warfare... it's a padi version of EWR with alot more options in it. Personally I played the original demo and I found it was a little bit too complex. If you want more information on it, the best thing you can do is simply google it.

TEW's actually been changed to Total Extreme Wrestling in later editions, and while it is a bit pricey, (especially considering that its predecessor EWR was free), it's always been worthwhile to me. To be honest, between TEW and Out Of The Park Baseball, I very rarely play console games anymore.

For those interested, TEW can be found here: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/home.php

:)

I cracked EWR open again when I was bored the other day and im completely hooked(again)

Getting TNA upto Global level is a challenge, though I have just signed Triple H as he got fired(?!) and now Bret Hart is pissed off because of it!

Also got most of the indie talent available(Kid Kash, London/Kendrick, Carlito, Harry Smith, Jeff Hardy) and signed most of the TNA roster to long term contracts (Styles, Raven, America's Most Wanted, Ron Killings) God rid of Chris Daneles as he wouldnt give up Japan and turned Sting heel to fight Triple H.

God, I play too much :(

Triple H - Title
London - X Division
Victoria - Womens Champ
Gle Gbilberti (;) ) and Mark Sanders - Tag Team
Kid Kash - CruiserWeight
Jamal (Umaga) - European Championship

There is an update for this on the ewr battleground forum.

Its rather good, addicted like hell again!

Running it as OVW this time :)

Val Venis is my champ!

I'm the same way with the game. I'll get out of it for a while, and then I'll casually play it again, and 7 hours later I'll wonder where all the time went. I'll play it like that for a couple weeks, and then I'll grow bored of it again.

I like the idea that TEW tried to do, but when I played a demo, it seemed TOO in-depth for my tastes.

I havent tried it out yet, though im not really that fussed to be fair. EWR is simple, quick and easy to update.

I used to play the older version(ie before I updated it) for hours at a time and got bored after a few weeks. Now I have the updated rosters, Im enjoying it more, just on it less!

Just signed RVD to fued with my young up n comer Tommy Suede! :D I made the twat attack Mick Foley on his debut though;)

I've just started playing this game as my own company and a load of shit has happened, I managed to become national and sign The Rock, TNA is now global and three other company's became national with me. I am currently the number 3 promotion in North America, so that makes me ECW compared to WCW and the WWF. My main problem is The Rock is only on 9% morale and I cant fix it.

I just love this game though, usually when I play it I find myself starting again all the time but this time I just carried on and I eventually managed to keep going. It's totally worth what you pay for it. . . . . which is nothing but it's well worth it.
