Expedia, book me on the next flight to Glasgow

1200 fans apparently.

His promo was quite good and he seemed pretty passionate which was nice to see! He managed to get the crowd chanting, "Here we, here we, here we fucking go!". If he turns up in Aberdeen when I'm back, I'd be tempted to see the big lug :)

Sally, I'm not gay, but Drew has a body ordained by the gods.

Tell me about it. The only problem is that if I were to divorce my one and only and marry Drew, my name would be Sally Galloway.

Would they call me Sally Gally?

Don't know if I could handle that.

Now if he could only get ownership of his WWE name, you cold be Sally McIntyre. That's a name to be proud of.

Either that, or get him to take your name.

That promotion is Insane Championship Wrestling. The BBC made a very well praised documentary on them last year, it was very entertaining and can be found on YouTube. In fact, here it is, definitely worth the watch. They do quite well for themselves and have a cult following of sorts in Scotland. In fact there is another BBC documentary in the works looking at the resurrection of professional wrestling in Britain and will be focusing on places like ICW, Preston City Wrestling, Southside, This is Progress and others who are selling out buildings consistently that can hold 2,000+ people.

I'd also recommend everyone watching Colt Cabana and Grado's entrances from a show they did. I've seen it in its entirety. Sabu getting a monster pop from a bunch of Scots was ridiculous.

As for McIntyre, his return made the Sun newspaper. Fair play to him for that. Nice to see him going back to his "roots" as The Drew Galloway. Used to watch him on shows here in Ireland under that name.

He's also scheduled for some Evolve shows, which is a way for him to work long matches with good workers such as Chris Hero, Anthony Nese and Johnny Gargano. If he plays his cards right, he could very well return to WWE. He still has friends there and at some point, Triple H was actually high on the guy. As for the return, he did very good, but the ring did indeed look small for such a big guy...

That's my hope, although I'm not gonna hold my breath. As much as I wanted him to be pushed, his rep was completely tarnished by his losing ways the past few years, first with the "fighting for his job" program with Teddy Long.....and then 3MB. It wouldn't have been realistic to see him suddenly emerge as a force, much as I didn't want to admit it.

With a couple of years away, though......

A Royal Rumble return when Barrett or Sheamus are tipped to win would make me shit myself in delight. Or just, I dunno, smile and nod or whatever.
