Only a few days after the Developmental Contract Battle Royale, we managed to get an interview with the one of the newest additions to the WZCW roster, Ferbian. The Danish wrestler had the following to say about his debut match, and his future expectations.
"Well, it didn't go as I had expected" The Danish wrestler admitted with obvious disappointment.
"However, the competition was tougher than I could've imagined. We got a lot of great new talents coming in from all parts of the world, all parts of this country to prove their worth in this premiere wrestling promotion. I must say that it was a honor to fight against all of these new faces."
Ferbian was among a total of 12 developmental superstars who competed for a WZCW contract to compete on the main roster. And while not everybody succeeded in winning the battle-royal, but with the good graces of Chuck Myles, the majority of the wrestlers managed to get their hands on a contract as well as the lucky winner Michael Winters.
"Michael was quite an opponent, quite a fighter. I applaud the fact that he managed to get the victory in a where the odds were against everyone. I hope to get my opportunity to prove myself against Michael, as well as any of the others. To prove that I belong at the top of this company, to prove myself to the fans." Ferbian continued with an encouraging spirit.
With little time remaining in our interview, we managed to get Ferbians comments on his backstage confrontation with John Constantine
"John and I seem a lot alike, yet so different. I have yet to get a proper insight on him, however he strikes me as very self-centered. He needs to realize that while he's gotten far in this business, he's not gonna be able to continue this disrespectful act towards everybody. Eventually someone will have to shut him up."
With that statement, Ferbian only had one thing left to say.
"Now, I've never been one to step down from a fight, so if John wants anything, he's more than welcome. And that goes for any of the new acquisitions as well"
Ferbian will be one of 6 competitors in the 6-man tag team match at Meltdown 46. We wish him the best of luck.
