Epic Fail

WZCW's Living Legend
So...here I am...a college graduate with a semester of graduate study under my belt...yet I am completely incapable of helping my sister with her high school level Algebra 2 homework. I mean, I used to get As in this crap.

I seriously wanted to vomit because it was so difficult.

I'm pretty sure that learning all of that is really irrelevant to real life. I'm not saying that math up to a certain level is unnecessary, but I didn't retain ANY of that knowledge.

I hear you on that. It's my belief that if you don't use something intensively over an extended period of time, then it will be lost to you. And, if you don't use it intensively, then it must not be important to whatever you're doing.

I used to be great at math.

Now i'm able to add 2+2 and such. Beyond that, it's touch and go.

Like you said, math isn't important in everyday life unless it has something to do with your occupation, then you better know your shit. Otherwise, knowing the basics and what-not is really all you need, i'm an idiot when it comes to math but when it comes to life i'm a genius. And knowledge in life conquers any other knowledge there is out there, that is a fact.
