ECW Cyberslam 1996: Was The Brian Pillman's Attack On Fan Scripted?

The movements of the fan made it look very realistic. He pulled him over the railing, and attacked him with something(pencil?) to the head. I don't have much information about this promo. Is there anyone who can inform me?

I'm pretty sure it's scripted, Too many legal and lawsuit problems I imagine when wrestlers just randomly attack fans.

The whole thing was clearly scripted or atleast they were aware of most of what he was gonna do otherwise they woulda shut it down immediately. and as above said if he had legit attacked someone who's not part of the show they woulda been in for a big lawsuit or possible jail time for Pillman, doesn't matter what the rating, that would not fly within any juristriction.

The fact that Pillman fooled people into thinking it was real- goes to show all who were 'in on it' did a really good job of selling the angle.

If it were real ... you could bet that security would be rather more forceful! .... say like the guy who tackled Bret Hart at the recent HOF ceremony
