Don't get me wrong I am one of the few who actually can see the potential in this young star. However his career is going nowhere fast, and Legacy as I have mentioned in the past sucks. Honestly, there are two directions I can see Cody going. The first would be the obvious with Legacy turning on him(Teddy Dibiase). It isn't like they couldn't find someone else to take his spot with Teddy, and I think either Joe Hennig, or Bret Dibiase would be the best fit. Cody seems to be a natural "face" to me, and I won't say that he can't play heel until he plays the role of a "face" better than he has done in the past with Hardcore Holly.

My next option would be for Dustin Rhodes(not Gold Dust) to start up a heated family feud with him. Possibly bring in The American Dream in on this as well. I could see Dustin playing the spiteful older brother, and Cody being the victimized "face". Perhaps Dustin/Daddy Rhodes join sides together in the effort to show how much they are disappointed in Cody for not being more than just a low card nobody. Hell, to spice things up maybe add Flair in to the mix(not to wrestle), and give Cody some advice about the other two.

Ummm, he's been wrestling for like what a year ....? & you already want to drop him .... How about you drop your life kid ....? Got it? GOOD

It appears as though I'm in the minority in this thread. First of all, I love the Legacy faction. I think that being aligned with Randy Orton has given Rhodes and Dibiase the opportunity to be involved in main event matches that they would not otherwise be involved in. Rhodes (and Dibiase for that matter) are not simply fading into the background, they are learning from one of the best heels currently in the business in Randy Orton.
Take it for what it is, Rhodes is still new to the game and he is already a significant part of the major storyline on the WWE's flagship show. Have patience. The Legacy thing will run it's course and Rhodes will have his time to stand on his own two feet. A Legacy breakup at this point would be premature and rushed. Rhodes needs to continue to develop and proove that he can be an upper mid card/main eventer without the help of Orton or Dibiase.

Secondly, I think Rhodes plays a great heel. I much prefer him in this role than babyface. He has a naturally cocky look to him which screams "bad guy". He has mastered the over confident swagger and executes his facial expressions right on point. His manurisms are much better suited for a heel.

Anyone else think legacy would work a lot better on smackdown and have either Edge or Jericho swap with them? Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, John Morrisson and CM Punk would be better opponents I think for Legacy. Another point to remember is that their current fued is with Batista who is very boring and does the same thing every week so no wonder it is hard for them to supposedly develop a personality. By taking on the smaller faces they would look stronger albeit still not be in their league storyline wise but at least look more menacing and even put on some good quality matches Cody v jeff Hardy, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio would be quite interesting likewise you can have Dibiase face them as say warm up matches for Orton. Gives the group more to do instead of running from one person in a 3 on 1 scenario which has already got quite boring.

Cody Rhodes is just complete crap. He can't work to save his life. Dibiase can though. Rhodes just isn't bought as a threat to anybody and he barely has a move set. The guy is just too scrawny.

actually, Cody is a pretty good talker. But, u feel embarrased for him when his lisp takes shape.
