Does Anybody Really Care?

TSG

Too Sweet To Be Sour
So it was determined tonight that John Cena will wrestle Triple H in the RAW Main Event next week. So I must ask, does anybody really care about this match. I sure don't.

I mean, really, look at it, Triple H vs. Cena has no appeal to it. Cena is average, HHH is pretty good, but since he is playing the injured part from the LMS Match and Three Stages of Hell, and if most RAW matches are any preview, this match will suck. Plus Triple H will most likely win it anyway, since this fued with Triple H seems to be planned to go longer. So I must ask everyone, since this match is predictable and most likely going to suck, does anyone really care?

It's the one match where I have no clue who's winning. That in itself will have me watching. It's the Rock/Austin of the new millennium. I think the match won't be that good simply due to HHH selling an injury and Cena also being wounded.

My prediction for this match is Miz will somehow involve himself in the match, costing Cena the win...OR, BOTH Miz and Orton interfere and cause some sort of Double Disqualification. That would set up the rematch from Wrestlemania 24 with Orton, HHH, and Cena for the WWE Title. Hopefully, we'll see something original come out of this. Hopefully.

Hopefully, but not plausibly. Creative can't do anything original, because Vince is too up his ass with making this a kids product. He can't see any farther than 5 main guys. It's turning into WCW all over again. Cena is turning into Goldberg, a guy with five moves who the crowd loves. Triple H is Hulk Hogan, a well known wrestler with complete creative control over his character. DiBiase and Rhoades are becoming Nash and Hall, two great wrestlers being overshadowed by their leader. Vince has become Bischoff, an arrogant on-air personality who slowly loses touch with the audience. So, how long until "The Rise and Fall of the WWE"?

No, I don't care. It's been done too many times. But I do expect something interesitng to come out of it, with Legacy member Ted DiBiase's dad running the show. Orton as special ref or something.

But no, i dont care, and wish it wouldnt happen

It's been done two many times? They've had two one on one matches. That's it, no where near the level of Orton and Triple h. Or Edge and Cena. On top of that The last match they had was amazing.

Back on topic. I'm really looking forward to the main event next week. It should be a solid match. I think what Lariat said could happen. I don't see them leaving one of these two of the ppv. So I think that it will be a double dq and a triple threat at NoC.... That's the only thing that would make sense.

I think you got the two wrestlers in this match confused.

It’s getting really old seeing Triple H in the title picture. Triple H is beyond boring, and needs to stay away from Orton, the Main Event, and the World Title. Eric Bischoff was completely right about Triple H. He's dated. His program with Orton flat lined back at Royal Rumble, and then took a turn for the worse at WM25, that was 3 almost 4 months ago, and it just keeps worse. Their feud is becoming the cancer of the WWE, Please just end it already. (Triple H is the real cancer, but if he was in a different feud it would at least killing things slower)

Cena is a breath of fresh air in this matter as far as I am concerned. At least when Cena goes for the title, and enters a feud there’s some passion behind it. At least we haven’t seen Orton vs. Cena 100 times this year (unlike Orton vs. Triple H) I bet we'll see the Miz get involved in the match next week, and Cena will get DQ'ed, or maybe the Miz will cost Triple H the match moving himself into a feud with Triple H. (seriously anything that gets Triple H away from the Title will do)

It would have been nice if they would have added at least 2-4 more people into this tournament. It could have been a bracket consisting 8/10 of the people from that battle royal a few weeks back.

Minus Matt Hardy, and Regal, this being due to Matt being hurt, and Regal being too fat... ugh I meant getting drafted to ECW.

Kofi should have automatically been in this tournament, due to the US Champ always holding the place as the Number One Contender (or is that rule abolished now due to Triple H always being the number one contender?)

How was Big Show not included in this tournament, after being in the Fatal Four way a few weeks back? What if the 3 match was Big Show vs. Kofi. And instead of a boring Triple H vs. Cena match next week, we got a triple threat with Big Show or Kofi involved.

The addition of these two would of at least switched up what we’ve been force feed for the past few months.

I'm seriously dreading another Triple H vs. Cena match, but not as much as I’m dreading Triple H vs. Orton.

Who the hell is booking these matches? Are they ******ed? I'm so over Raws Main Event picture

wow, talk about being a negative nancy...to be honest, i'm a huge fan of their wm 22 match and their match at noc 08. the atmosphere when these two meet is just absolutely insane and i think thats what makes me love their matches. i think this match is ALOT better than watching orton vs triple h AGAIN so while this may not be the popular choice, i'm actually reall excited

Shit boring. I couldn't care less. I swear creative is on ice, they're fucking idiots. As soon as I saw the 2 matchs I knew Cena and HHH would win and I know Trips will win next week and Cena will continue to bury Miz in another squash match at NOC.

Trips needs to stay away for longer, I'm so sick of him stealing all the glory and building his ego. Fuck. I would have loved Miz to get into this match somehow but that's not gonna happen. And wtf? why those 4?? Just another stupid decision by RAW writers, idiots.

Who the hell is booking these matches? Are they ******ed? I'm so over Raws Main Event picture

I'm with you mate, over it!

and Cena will continue to bury Miz in another squash match at NOC.

He can't. Every match on the card has to be for a title. neither Cena nor Miz have a title, so they can't have a match at NoC, unless one of them ends up with the US title. Which is possible for Cena to take it, every other title right now is being held by someone who is a former World/WWE/ECW champion. (IC = Rey Mysterio, World = CM Punk, WWE = Orton, Tag = Edge and Jericho, ECW = Dreamer.) So US is the only one left out.

Seeing as I'm going to NoC I'm at a loss who I want to win the HHH v. Cena match. I hate Cena so much and would love not to see him make it to the show I'm going to...but I in no way want to see HHH v. Orton. Their entire fued has bored me to death.

Guess I have to hope for the "A" show Smackdown to make NoC interesting. Oh, and thank god that as of right now i will not have to see that no talent loser Miz.

Meh pretty much sums up my feelings pretty good. It has happened a handful of times already which were largely underwhelming, so I don't see this one being any better seeing as HHH is selling an injury and such.

While I'm not very interested in this match, I don't think it's too predictable. It could go either way really. But, seeing as how HHH is still seemingly trying to feud with Orton, I think he'll ultimately get the win.

At this point, it's something different so I'm happy. I agree that it'll likely go to either HHH or a draw, likely with Miz causing the end of the match. This of course leads to HHH vs. Orton....again. Cena vs. Orton has been done before but not lately. Right now, the Raw brand is in desperate need of a shot of adrenaline, which, and I can't believe I'm saying this, maybe Mark Henry can give it. The issue I have is that this is another coupling of the same four people that dominate the main event of Raw: Batista, Orton, HHH and Cena. The issue for me is that it's always a combination of those four. Now with Cena like feuding with Miz, Orton maybe doing something with Henry, Batista out and HHH finding someone, maybe this is what we've been needing and next week will signal the beginning of a little break. One can only hope. Anyway, this should be a solid match I think, as they're noth main event players that can put on good matches. It'll get about twenty minutes and be a solid affair, but I don't see a clean win anywhere in sight.

I pretty much don't get excited about anything in wrestling anymore. I hate Cena, the young talent doesn't know how to step up except for Orton, and except for a few people (HBK and HHH come to mind) the art of telling a story in the ring has died. WWE had better figure out what they are gonna do when guys like HHH, Taker, and HBK retire, because if Cena's the best they are gonna push to the moon I won't be watching WWE anymore.

Miz has a lot more talent than people will ever believe. He and Cena last night had a great match, and for a while I'm sure some people thought Miz may win. I for one want to see Cena wrestle Orton. Cena's starting to use more than his five moves of doom as everyone says he has and nothing else. Miz brought more out of him in a wrestling aspect than anyone else has in a while.

does anyone just watch wrestling to be entertained anymore instead of analyzing every single thing about it?

Cena vs HHH has been done too many times, and it would be even worse if Orton interferes again, like he always does. Maybe they could make this into an Ironman match, so that it would be a lot more interesting.

its obviously going to end in a dq and it'l be orton hhh cena at noc...how do we know this? because if wwe wont leave cena or hhh off the card and this is the only way to get them both on there in the title match

well we have seen these two go at numerous times. its difficult to predict the winner in this one but i think that miz, orton, maybe rhodes and dibiase will get involved and then it would a triple threat match for the title=cena vs HHH vs orton

I never thought of it like that...shit your right, its the downfall from here

I was hoping at least Miz or MVP would win having Miz vs HHH or MVP vs Cena or Miz but no, HHH-CENA #158

BORING

OFF TOPIC- Its like Raw-90210 the character, and storys
Smackdown-the wrestling
ECW-the young and upcoming, besides Christian and Dreamer

I was there last night and I'm not going to spoil it but jus say u guys are way off here...its not old at all these two guys are huge draws still and just the fact that the two biggest faces face off was huge for us...all I will say was match was fantastic...but no this has not been done as hhh vs orton nor as boring as show vs cena...stop hating and jus enjoy

does nobody know here dat rhodes n dibiase jr. ran in at the end and next weeks guest host ted dibiase sr. made it a triple threat at NoC. You can read all of next weeks spoilers on the site.

Whatever the case I can honestly say that I DON'T CARE about who is in the main event anymore...when it comes to RAW it's a revolving door in the Main Event spot...We get continuous combinations of HHH, Orton, Cena, Bore-tista, and sometimes Big Show. How many times can we watch all these guys and still pretend to be excited about it?

I'm more interested in seeing guys like DiBiase Jr., Kofi, Bourne, MVP, The Miz, and Rhodes getting their opportunities. Personally, I actually hate MVP, but at least he'd be something NEW...Maybe Swagger can step up, and it looks like the "World's Sloppiest Big Man" Mark Henry is getting a lil bit of a shot...not that he'll actually last in the upper teir, but at least it's fresh!
