Do you cheat?

I use cheat codes offline for fun but online only if they are
Because i want to be fair Online or as fair as they are

a quick question how do people discover cheats i mean before they get posted on cheat sites?

They either work for the company, buy the video game guide books or are extremely unbelievably ridiculously nerdy that they are able to figure them out on their own. That's my theory anyway. I assume that some people are able to hack into the video games and figure it out but I have no idea how that could happen though that could be added to the extremely nerdy category. The company man and guide books are the most likely choices as word of mouth spreads like wildfire with this shit.

If by cheating you mean camp out with a sniper while my partners run around as bait, then yes I am guilty.

If by cheat you mean entering codes or upping the field without doing it fairly, then no. In my opinion, what's the point of achieving those levels if you don't do it fairly. In GTA, all the weapons I get are from finding them on the map. In Saints Row, I complete everything on my own... and currently, in Crackdown 2 even though it's hard as hell, I still do things on my own.

Not to mention, entering cheats stops the ability for me to get achievements and stuff... so there's another reason why I don't do it. I happen to find my achievements to be quite fun and well earned.

Well, when I was a young lad, I needed to more because I didn't appreciate the whole gameplay, I just wanted to finish the games. When I was about, 14, I stopped cheating. Nowadays, I finish the game before cheating. I cheat to see what the cheats are like and how realistic/Unrealistic they are.
So, to answer the OP, yes, I do cheat, but I only do after I finish the game once.

But sometimes, cheats make a multiplayer game better. I remember playing Goldeneye with some friends and we turned the paintball cheat on. That actually manages to add another level of strategy to it as you use the paintballs found on the wall or floors to figure out where your opponents are.

I guess that I used to cheat at Goldeneye 64, I used to look at my opponents split-screens to figure out where they were.
