Daniel Bryan & Sami Zayn.

Getting Noticed By Management
I was just wondering how about Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn as a Tag Team. If Daniel gets cleared to wrestle and Sami finishes his feud with Kevin Owens how about it. WWE is worried about injuries with both of them, why not let them tag they would not be wrestling full matches alone they could help each other out. Daniel and Sami are similar and the fans love them it only seems logical I think help me out guys what do you think, could this help both in the long run.

Im not a big fan of this idea and here are a few reasons why

1. Throwing tag teams together very rarely works in the long run. Its usually only a short stint and then everyone goes on their merry way

B. Daniel Bryan is better than this. Im not going to go on a long tangent saying this would be beneath him, because I do like both guys. But what would this accomplish in the long run? Team Hell No worked because Kane and Bryan were polar opposites and played well off each other. Zayn and Bryan are 2 smiley happy-go-lucky faces. I could be wrong, but I think the pairing would be boring

D. Zayn should go back to NXT when hes cleared to compete. Not a knock against him, but after being gone for so long after just 1 main roster match? He'd get a huge pop in NXT, not so much on RAW

And as for Zayn VS Owens, I dont think it needs to be finished up right out of the gate. Let Sami work his momentum back up in NXT and Owens continue to heel it up on RAW. Down the road these 2 should absolutely meet again, but it shouldnt be Zayns first order of business.

After all, Owens shouldnt get the credit for injuring Zayn. Itami, yes. Zayn, no. He really injured himself, but I think itd be more interesting if Zayn went after Cena and blamed Cena for his lost time

I've often thought of Sami Zayn as the Daniel Bryan of NXT in that they were both cast in the role of underdogs, both have a highly physical style of working, both had a strong indie following before signing to WWE and fans have rallied around them.

As a tag team, I think Bryan & Zayn would have no trouble getting over; Bryan's popularity is undiminished, pairing Zayn with him would very well only help Zayn and it could introduce a new dynamic into the tag team picture. Would they work well in the long run? I doubt it because in the grand scheme of things, if both are able to compete long term inside the ring, it wouldn't be too long before fans were clamoring for one or both of them to be moved to the upper mid-card/main event picture. It's something of a problem regarding tag teams in which one or both members is someone that a lot of fans believe can be/should be wrestling in the main event. As the OP pointed out, there have to be doubts among WWE officials, and justifiably so, unfortunately, as to whether they can continue as in-ring wrestlers; as a result, putting them in a situation where they can be protected to some degree makes perfect sense so that officials and the wrestlers themselves can get some idea how things are going to work out. Daniel Bryan's been in two high profile spots in which he's had to be pulled out of due to injury, so while I agree with the notion that he's better than this, or rather he would be better than this if he was genuinely healthy and could go in the long run, the doubt WWE officials have is understandable.

In Bryan's case, he's so passionate about wrestling that I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he asked to be released if WWE informs him that they don't intend to clear him to compete in the ring again. He'd have no trouble whatsoever finding work; he could easily go back to ROH or a bigger stage like New Japan. Unless Bryan sees that it's going to be too dangerous to proceed, which means he'll have to wrestle some in order to find out, then WWE is probably a safer environment in which to find that out.

2 singles wrestlers getting thrown together as a tag team? The fans will hate it and it rarely ever works.. Daniel Bryan should retire from in-ring competition and be a coach. I'm sure he doesn't want that but it's probably the best thing for him.
