i think criptozoology should be allowed no matter what. there is allways going to be people who believe in things and whatnot , why not let them. in my mind i think its fun to study things that no ones found yet like big foot and the loch ness monster. it gives people hope that things they've believed in all there life is still true.

Well, if it was real.. wouldn't it be considered an oxymoron or hypocritical?

I mean, its basically saying its the belief in make-believe/fictional/non-real animals/monsters. So if it were real, then it wouldn't be fictional/non-real, thereby making it a hypocritical point, wouldn't it? I'd assume so.

yeah but they are looking for evidence to say that they did exist on some level. Whether they are still Extant or Extinct. Whether it is real or Myth. It is arrogance to say that we know what every species on earth is.
