Cryme Tyme needs to turn heel!

Pre-Show Stalwart
For the past three and a half years, we know of the WWE tag team known as Cryme Tyme. They first debuted on RAW in mid to late 2006 vs. the Spirit Squad. And for about 7-8 months in the WWE they had a good run even though not winning the world or WWE tag titles, they were released.

The RAW the day after Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando, FL. Cryme Tyme were back in action against Cade & Murdock with a victory. This was done by the WWE due to there at the tyme where there wasn't enough african-american wrestlers on WWE programing. And it was during the same tyme frame as the infamous "Wrestlemania Weekend Party" in where Freebird & Smackdowns head creative writer and a very drunken Michael "P.S." Hayes in where he used the "N" word towards Mark Henry.

So Cryme Tyme pretty much picked up where they left off on RAW as be'in the entertainment aspect of a tag team by feuding with other tag teams while receving very little to no tag team championship title shots! So last year both Cryme Tyme members are drafted to Smackdown shortly after Wrestlemania 25. Where by the summer Cryme Tyme was on a role with facing the JeriShow at Summerslam for the now unified WWE tag team titles, but ended up losing the match and losing the feud. With that being said, is it tyme for a Cryme Tyme heel turn??

Because Cryme Tyme is really just a blend between D-Generation X and Los Guerreros. Two black hood guys from Brooklyn, NY who can (help) bring in a "urban demographic" i.e. african-americans aka black people. Cryme Tyme stole & sold from rival teams, trashed things, and even when as far as joining up in a faction with the almighty John Cena himself before getting drafted to Smackdown. Cryme Tyme and will always be about getting "money money, YEAH YEAH! that money money YEAH YEAH"! (Sorry got a little carried away there!)

So there's really nothing left to do but to turn Cryme Tyme heel! They could introduce the WWE universe to the art of "Gangsta Wrestling" like real gangsta's introduced gangsta rap? I like it! Why not do it? The WWE are high on the whole "black wrestler prison story" right now with the likes of MVP and R-Truth. Maybe this tyme they could have a legitmate chance at winning the WWE unified tag team belts? only TYME will tell I guess?

I don't know... I don't really see it...

I mean it would be something different, but there's already enough heel tag teams that are better at being heel. The Hart Dynasty, ShowMiz, etc. If Cryme Tyme were turned heel, then who would they feud with? Matt Hardy and Great Khali (ugh...)?

I'm not really for it...

im 100% for it but the wwe fucked up. i cant think of a face tag team, remember dx is gone.

legacy
hart dynasty
croft and barretta
jerishow
mizshow
mvp and mark henry...not really a tagteam
kali and hardy...deffinatelly not a tagteam

dam wwe tagteam divison sucks, thank god for tna tagteams.....

o ya tna lost its tagteam status

the nasty boys and the band, hernandez and morgan were on there way to the ME then they never got that final push. beer money just came back. and thats it....o ya 3D, too bad they have two fat guys v two other fat guys. not good for a wrestling match.

i digress

anyway

yes cryme time should join cena and be heel rapper thugs.

and bring in MVP.

Dam this could be a great stable.

This would not work. The whole thing about MVP and R-Truth is, they LEARNED from their pasts, and are trying to live a better life. WWE even mentions how MVP goes around and tries to teach troubled kids to do the right thing, and not make the same mistakes he did when he was their age.

I don't think you could even turn Cryme Tyme heel. I think the crowd would pop for them either way because they're viewed by the fans as being "cool". Even if WWE tried really hard at heel turn with these two, I think it would be an epic fail. The crowd would probably just lose interest in them all together. Cryme Tyme is pretty over as faces, turning them heel would not make sense because them being heel probably wouldn't "click" with the crowd. Either that, or they would just be cheered no matter what they did.

Cryme Tyme turning heel doesn't really matter. I don't care if they are face or heel. And that has nothign to do with them. They are a damn good tag team. Neither of them are great singles competitors, but a goo TAG TEAM! Tag team wrestling use to be an art form. It used to have it's own strategy.

As long as the tag division is in the gutter, which it is, REAL tag teams like cryme tyme are going to be in trouble. Give me ONE good reason why Miz and Show should have the tag belts? Because Big Show has nothing else to do? Because it helps the Miz "get over?" That is all bulls**t. Vince no longer cares about tag team wrestling.

Teams like MVP and Mark Henry? Tell me, what do they have in common besides wearing red, being black, and having nothing else to do? Same with Miz and Big Show. These teams have ZERO chemistry as tag teams. The worst of all of these random tag teams is Matt Hardy and Khali. I DARE you to give me one good, solid reason these two should be a tag team.

Having these random, STUPID tag teams is painful to watch. The WWE has good potential tag teams in Legacy (no, they should NOT be split up yet), Hart Dynasty, Croft/Baretta, and Cryme Tyme. Bring back together a team like Primo and Carlito, both of whom are better suited for tag team wrestling. Add another member to the Straight Edge Society to tag up with Luke Gallows (CM Punk and Gallows are NOT a tag team, Punk is a superstar).

That right there is six tag teams that could back and forth between Raw and Smackdown and have LEGITIMATE tag team feuds and title matches. If you have too many guys like Big Show, MVP, Mark Henry, Matt Hardy, Khali, etc. with nothing to do...RELEASE THEM!

No they were released due to a backstage altercation between Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch which got them released(which makes you think how big the altercation was) when WWE lost faith in Cade & Murdoch they brought back Cryme Tyme and apparently made a masive apology.

As for the heel turn it is very hard to say what would happen until we see it like the CM Punk heel turn which turned out great and if Cryme Tyme could get as big heat as S.E.S then they would be set.
