Could a working agreement between WWE & TNA work?

Well I've seen a lot of mentions about WWE bringing up Hogan's name, other TNA guys faces being in promos and a whole bunch of other stuff that was recently considered taboo in WWE.

So I'm going to make this thread so people can post what they're getting at and let their imaginations run wild, brother!

See to me, TNA and WWE working together seems impossible, for both companies. It's Vince's way or no way at all. But then again, WWE was like financing or had some type of relationship with ECW back in the 90s and they even had ECW's top star RVD make an appearance on RAW.

So I can't say a working agreement is totally out of the question(though it's extremely unlikely.)

Anyway, if you have any ideas on how TNA and WWE working together could be mutually beneficial, post it. I can't because I don't see how this would work or why WWE would do it. It's more likely they'd work with ROH guys then work with TNA and they have to worry about any publicity they give TNA because the pie that is professional wrestling appears to be getting smaller and smaller. That's why I just wonder if the two biggest companies worked together, could they increase the amount of fans interested?

Discuss?

This idea did cross my mind when it came to this current story with Punk. It'd be an ideal place for Punk to go off and defend the title, furthering the story and in the same breathe getting TNA a bit more attention. The only reason I think it'd work right here and now is because it'd be mutually beneficial. You'd have WWE fans who'd never watched TNA before or heard of it being exposed to it, but the inevitable return of Punk to the E would make them some big bucks also.

They could even do a couple of cross promotion broadcasts like the Last Nitro/Raw one. It's an interesting idea but an unlikely one given the sheer amount of bad blood passing between all parties. Don't forget what Hogan did to his HOF ring.

No, because Vince McMahon would never allow another prominant company to have any kind of "victory" however small, over the WWE on their TV show.

ECW was a very small company when Vince allowed them to appear on Raw, they hadn't even had a single PPV yet, while TNA is a pretty well established company with some very big names, who could actually be a genuine threat to WWE one day, as Impact has been closing on SD in the ratings.

Almost 0% chance of this happening

Why should they? WWE is so much larger then TNA, why would Vince want to join them in anyway. I honestly don't think WWE needs TNA, nor should give them any form of boost. Now maybe if TNA gave them so sort of competition, but the thing is, they don't. WWE doesn't need it.
