No I am not suggesting that Punk actually fued with creative but it seems like he is. My biggest problem with the use of Punk atm is that they simply have nothing to top the straight edge work/shoot fued with Jeff.
Here is my proposal to give him some direction as well as help some other stars in the process.
During the survivor series match, w/ Armstrong as the ref (we all know it's going to happen) have Punk get Christian up for the GTS only for Christian to turn it in to a crucifix pin and have the fast count.
Punk decides he is sick of Armstrong and stakes claim to being the best ECW has ever been and announces a return to the brand.
This may be seen as a backwards step but it accomplishs two things A. Gets him off SD, away from Scott Armstrong and an inevitable Batista monster squash run. B. Allows him to be a focal point again.
Back to Punk's announcement, this brings Christian out (on SD, testing his crowd response in the process) who says he heard rumours of a move to ECW but he is here to remind him that Christian is the face of ecw and a greater champion then Punk ever was. He proved it at SS, Punk can mention the fast count/whinge and he will see him on Tuesday night.
Punk seemingly no shows his first night on ECW and in a title match between Christian and Regal, Punk appears and screws Christian out of the title. This allows Regal to train the young guys like Christian was, puts koslov and Jackson in a turn on Regal fued after Regal has helped the likes of Yoshi, Reks etc and allows Christian some room to move and a challenge performance wise.
This leads to a game of one up man ship between the two and sees them fight on ECW and SD in a home and away type format.
I would have Punk go over in the end and proclaim he is the best and which leads to.....be continued
I will have the second part of the reinvention of Punk up by the end of the week, this builds on an idea I had in the SS thread.
