CM Punk: Hall of fame?

This is my 3rd part of my hall of fame series.
Now with Money in the Bank drawing in CM Punks 'last match' is just a few weeks away, whether he signs a new deal or not let's look at his stats and see what you think:
ECW Championship (1 time)

Feud of the Year (2009) vs. Jeff Hardy
Best Gimmick (2009)
He is well respected Backstage
Was in the first ever Extreme Elimination Chamber
Phenomenal wrestler and entertainer
Gave up his hair for the buisness
Had such great feuds with the likes of Randy Orton, John Cena ,Rey Mysterio, Kane, Undertaker, Big Show, Chavo Guerrero, Jeff hardy and others.
He's had good underrated matches like the TLC against Jeff Hardy or his singles match against Randy Orton at WM27

I doubt his Career in the wwe is over but I do believe it will be put on hold and I pray he's taking the title with him .

So questions are:
Do you think CM Punk will be inducted into the HOF?
If so why?
If not then why?
And what year do you think he'd be inducted.

Just shut the fuck up about Drew Carrey being in the HOF. It's not a big deal at all and I'm sick of hearing the same thing over and over about it.

On topic-
Yes I do think Punk will go into the HoF someday. Why? Well you've listed all of his accomplishments in WWE and I think those are enough to get him in. He is also the most over heel in all of wrestling today. He will probably be the most hated villain of the decade.
I think it will be in 10 years or so, maybe shorter than that. I see him coming back to WWE after his down time is completed. He was destined to be in the biggest and best company.

Only an idiot would even think about not putting him into the hall of fame. I mean, sure, Punk's not exactly legendary, but he's still considered one of the best right now and in the world. All around, he's great. Career wise, he's won money in the bank two times, he's won the world champion three times, and he happens to be a Triple Crown Champion. He has been able to make himself relevant, and his uncliched persona is just crazy good.

From here on then, either way, he belongs in the hall of fame.

Jesus people, it is not an exact science - it has always been a WWE propaganda tool and if WCW won the MNW, it would exist as a WCW propaganda tool. It always has been. Yeah, he probably will be inducted into the HOF (unless he goes to TNA) but not as a headliner, just as another inductee. Punk's career accomplishments aren't of particularly legendary status even though he is probably the best all-round wrestler in the world, at the moment.

Of course CM Punk is deserving of a Hall of Fame spot. I suspect he'll be back eventually and that will pad his stats even more. He is universally liked by most of the fans and one of the best in ring stars plus he works the mic like none other. Punk is a rare breed in talent and is deserving of any and all achievements he has piled up in the WWE. It isn't difficult to get in the WWE HOF as there are a handful of guys who don't belong there. Even so, I believe Punk has the accolades to do so and if he remains on good terms with the company (which he will I think) he'll be in the HOF when he decides to hangup the boots for good.

His microphone skills alone should be enough for him to be HOF material. He deserves it, and I suspect his accomplishments might increase a bit still.

People act like if Punk leaves, he will never come back. I don't think that's the case here. If anything, I'd say he is staying and this is all storyline or he is leaving for a bit to help RoH back on there feet with the new ownership.

But if you look at the HOF, he has to be in if you ask me. He has done a lot of the company and Vince is trying to send him out on a good note so that he will come back.

CM Punk is a future Hall Of Famer. But his career isn't over. He isn't retiring, he isn't leaving wrestling and WWE for good. He's just taking a break. He'll be back soon enough when he's fresh and ready to get back into the mix. If Punk was really retiring for good (which he isn't, let's bear that in mind), he'd probably still get into the Hall Of Fame at some point. The titles of "three-time world champion" and "the only back-to-back Money In The Bank ladder match winner" speak for themselves.

/\ Exactly. Punk is taking a leave from the company, not leaving for good. If he does leave (no one knows just yet) its probably because he needs some rest and he wants his character to stay fresh to the crowd. Before this Cena feud, they threw him in another program with Rey even though that storyline was done to death awhile back.

most definitely Punk is worthy of the hall of fame!!! Punk is a two time money in the bank winner three time wwe champion and the list goes on and on. If hacksaw and Koko and that annoying piece of chit Drew are in the hall of fame hell yah punk deserves it!! His mic skills and character alone are good enough to make it in!!

Not a hope I'm afraid. As much as I do believe he should be I dont think he made the impact that he was capable of. With the right push backstage he could have easily been the face of the WWE but he didnt have the support. If he is to enter the HOF I believe it will be many many years down the line just to fill up the class for that year unfortunately.

There's a litany of young superstars in the WWE right now that I believe are potential HOF candidates. CM Punk is one of them. He's good on the stick, knows how to work a match, can tell a story in the ring and out of it, and has undoubtedly made a big impression since his debut. I infer that Punk will continue this until the end of his career and by the time it ends, he'll have a nice body of work that will merit a HOF spot.

Of Course CM Punk is going to be in the Hall of Fame. Everybody gets in unless they are a convicted pedophile or they pull a Chris Benoit. By the way, Punk leaving on July 17 or not doesn't matter on if he is going in the Hall of Fame. If Koko B. Ware is in the Hall of Fame, you can bet that Punk is going to be in it.

Are you insane? What i have just bolded in your statement is exactly why he should be in the WWE Hall of Fame. Like i said earlier, if Koko B. Ware (who by the way never won a fucking belt while in WWE) is in the Hall of Fame Punk is sure to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Well after that promo... I doubt CM Punk ever be allowed to come back to the WWE let alone the WWE Hall of Fame. He broke many rules like mentioning TNA superstars, insulting the McMahon family, and mention other promotions. As of now he is suspended and I think after the contract expires both parties will part ways for good.

Punk will return and be at the main event as he should and their jump to HoF, right now with the stuff hes done i doubt it... I mean rocks not even in it and drew carrey is........ Yes, he will get in but the HoF is more of a tool than anything else. If your remembered as 1 of the best by the people then your a legend and HoF.
