Christy Hemme is no So Cal Val!

Is it me or is Christy doing a terrible job as an announcer the past couple months?

I mean, she is announcing things properly, but just the way she accents some of the words make me want to rip my ears off. I think they should either tell her to be less rough in her announcing, go back to having Val announce, or just have JB do the entire show of announcing and send Christy back to interviewing!

Christy is no Val. That is for sure. She doesn't look or sound like a man at all. I will take Christy over Val at practically anything. Hemme is still getting the hang of parts of the job but at least she has the tools to possibly succeed at it unlike Val.

As for the topic, I think Christy is doing a fine job and your just looking for something to bitch about. I for one think she is a better announcer than JB.

i think christy hemme just sorda looks used up. idk, maybe i just been lookin at kelly kelly too much and that just isnt fair to compare. i never thought she served too much of a purpose and all she brought to the table was red hair.(then we were blessed with maria) im not sure how she is still getting the handle of the job because how long ago was she fired from wwe???(or left,i didnt pay attention, why would i?) like ricky morton said, if things are still the same after so many years, it is about time to do something new..which im hoping they do with this rebranding, but do it without christy hemme.

Well I also think So Cal Val looks like a man and dont mind her off my tv. I personally prefer Christy over Val. Christy is much more fun to look at and in my opinion has a smoother voice.

I prefer Christy. For one, she's a lot more energetic. But SoCal seems to have issues with her voice and sounds like a pre-teen boy. Her voice pitches from time and she seems to try and sound thick. Christy on the other hand, gives a bit more flare when introducing people.

I, for one, don't like EITHER of them as an announcer. I think Val makes a good ring valet and I didn't mind Christy at all as a backstage interviewer. But I think they're both TERRIBLE at announcing. They really need to get someone to do it who can announce names without me wanted to rip my ears off my head. The bad thing is that I was like "holy crap, Christy Hemme's gonna be the ring announcer! This is awesome!" An hour later into the show, I was just praying for someone to take the mic away from her.

She had her shot; she's terrible. Get someone else to do it. Anyone. Please TNA.

It isnt just you, she is jaw droppingly awful. One of the worst ring announcers I have ever heard. Not that it makes much of a difference.

I wrote a while back when she first started how excited I was for it, because her first week she did a tremendous job, but it's been a steady decline week-after-week since.

She's rushing through everything, and putting the wrong emphasis on the wrong syllable (best I could do).

Meh, i like them both as ring announcers. For the people who say SocalVal looks like a man, are you insane or blind? If she's a man, what about ODB then? Anyways, Hemme should take more lessons about announcing matches but she is not that bad and her and Val are easy on the eyes.

She has only been doing this for a few weeks now, lets not be so quick to get down on her. I'm sure she will figure thing out and do a fine job. I do like her better than Val though, even if it's just because she is better looking(IMO). But Christy does bring a sorta flare to the ring where as Val is just meh.
