I think it will go down considerably now. When he made his initial debut it was a big deal. Instead of getting fired and coming to TNA he opted to go there, through choice. He was the main star of the company for a good 9 months or so. Then with the arrival of the bigger star Angle he moved to number two in the company. Angle is a considerably bigger star, so that was fair enough. But now with the arrival of Booker he's at least the number three star in the company. That also depends on how you rate Styles, Jarret & Joe.

Anyone think that Cage will suddenly start to become a frequent mid carder? Sure his mic skills are great, but I'm inimpressed with his in ring work. I only think he's had great matches with Joe. The rest of his matches have been good and ok. He never has bad matches but he frequently has average matches.

I see him making the occasional main event appearence on PPV. But that's only because TNA usually has about 4 people in each title fight. But I don't see him ever being the figurhead of the company again. Certainly not for a long stretch of time like he was.

Christian has always been a solid mid card guy putting on decent matches and providing good entertainment on the mic. but he will l never be the main man again in tna or wwe,

he handled his departure from wwe and subsequent arrival in tna with great dignity and one day he will be welcomed back in wwe with open arms.

I don't think that's the case. I see him more as the Triple H type- taking a step back for some less glorious feuds to keep the product fresh. He's a top notch heel, but Angle is a bigger draw. Christian is smart enough to realize that and also to see that if Angle can draw more people in, everyone will make more money.

With Styles and Tomko going to the "Angle Alliance" I would not be shocked to see a Christian face-turn teased. We all know there won't likely be a long program between Angle and Kaz, but when Christian decides he's pissed at Styles and Tomko for: 1) costing him the ladder match and 2) helping Angle win instead of him, we will see Christian vs Styles leading up to Angle vs Christian.

I'm more concerned about Chris Harris not being able to break through as a top face. He's heading down the "Petey Williams" road. With Sting, Abyss, Booker T, and maybe now Christian as big time faces, he's sorta the "odd man out."

Even if Christian is a mid-card for a little while, that's ok. At least TNA has a mid-card division with pride.

You can't main event for ever. In theory, you can only really have two main eventers at a time. I do believe that Christian will always be a top guy in TNA and featured, regardless of whether he's in the title picture. If he starts a feud with AJ, I wouldn't really see that as a step down. If he starts a feud with Eric Young that's another thing. If you had to pick out "top" guys Angle and Booker would be higher. I think it's good though and Christian will do fine. Jake the Snake, Mr. Perfect, Ted DiBiase and other were great without being main eventers.

if tna turn christian into a jobber like wwe did he would proberly walk like he did in wwe i could see wwe welcomein him bk as a main eventer if tna use him as a mid carder wouldent he rather be mid cardin in wwe

I don't think he will get buried, he's been gold for TNA since his heel turn and won't be out of the title picture for a long time its just there is no place for him right now there. The champion is heel and if you read the spoinlers

***SPOILERS Cage is still heel and starts a feud with Booker T quouting an infamous New York radio host END SPOILERS***

so by that account i don't think he is going to be out of the picture and i think he will mess with AJ and Tomko at the next ppv to start a feud with them or just AJ.

Everything is going to be fine there is nothing to worry about. The guy has had a bad couple months that is nothing. Christian is more than a good promo man, up until a month ago he had not been pinned or submitted since debuting in TNA. That has to count for something. TNA will most likely put him in a feud with Angle for the world title. At least that is what they should do. I mean Booker T is great and all, but putting him in the title picture this soon would be ridiculous, and i for one am tired of seeing Sting every week.

There's only one reason I am not sick of Sting in the title picture is 1. He still cuts good promos IMO(not as good as Cage, that's quite hard) and 2. Its most likely his last hurah and he's earned it to go out at the top of company.

I think Christian will be just fine in TNA. I would imagine that he is pretty content being amongst the upper midcard. Christian is the first of these big name jumps that has actually had feuds with TNA originals, and has made them look better.

Cage is solid in TNA. He's easily their best on the mic, and I haven't seen him dog one match in TNA. The guy is damn good and doesn't mind putting people over. Plus, he's young compared to a lot of the other guys on the roster, so he has many, many years left in his career, so why not push some of the older names right now.

Plus with Cage, right now you have three feuds worth building for, all with individual members of the Angle Alliance. Cage/Styles is coming, and one match I am really looking forward to. Honestly, that match should be built up for a long time because those two are going to tear the house down on pay per view.

I think Cage is good where he's at. He's a solid mid-carder, and hell, i wouldn't mind them building a real mid card title around him at this point. Show the X-Division guys that there is more to TNA then just them, and simply put, as a company you have other guys you can rely on.

Christian is and will always be a main-event guy. TNA has handled him very fair I think. Christian can take the smallest thing, and turn it into gold. He's the total package I think. He's had 2 good runs with the belt. He will be champ again somewhere down the road. The ANGLE thing will wear off eventually. Booker and Joe will be champs within 6-8 months I predict!!

I cant imagine him being anything but the top heel of the company or atleast 2nd. I cant think of him as a face it would really ruin his character. As for his status i enjoy all his matches hes got solid ring skills and his mic skills are probably the best tna got. For those reasons im confident they wont misuse him.
Although i can see him going midcard for the X division belt just for awhile till they can put him back on the main event scene.

it would be downright stupit on TNA's part to ever let this guy get burried or even close to it and i dont see that happening anyway.

a few ppl hav mentioned it already but i definitly see Cage VS Styles fueding and putting on phenominal instant classics. this will not only help christian as he makes his way toward a fued with angle which will just be flat out incredible, but having a fued with cage will help styles because anyone who fueds with cage benefits from it and comes out better then they went in.

a face turn would be interesting but with his mic skills and charisma he could pull it off easily and make it entertaining.

big things are in store for Christian Cage and very entertaining things are in store for the TNA fans.

Cage made the right choice at that time to come to TNA.

(1): He gave TNA a new level of being a 'legitimate' wrestling organization.

(2): With HHH, Edge, and others, he was a overglorified mid-carder who deserved better and would have never gotten to the top in WWE.

(3): He can flat out cut a promo where alot of TNA guys couldn't. He's the best at this since Flair in that book and you can tell that alot of this has recently rubbed off on AJ Styles and made him more over. This has added good value to the show hearing him cut a promo.

(4); He must really like it in TNA because I saw on Wrestlezone where he either signed a new deal or extended the deal he already had.

I think he is there to stay and has a long run and multiple titles but will eventually end up in WWE at the very end of his career more for financial security plus he will have some more negotiable clout to get a world championship run.

I don't think anyone has anything to worry about. TNA values Christian very highly even with the new stars coming in. He'll remain as a top heel (or face) for a long time. If TNA didn't value him, we wouldn't see his mugshot in PPV promotional posters and he wouldn't even have a DVD out.

Cage is gold. Heel gold maybe, but gold. I just hope the Hall and Nash crap won't last too long because in my opinion, as in-ring performers, they suck all the air out of a room. No need to say that I'm very worried about Hall, who pretty much looks shot. Once that's done, we can have more Christian moments and that's great. He is a main-eventer, but right now it's all about Angle. That man is made for major feuds and that can only help TNA. Christian Face? That might be worth giving it another try. I think he was Face for about 48 hours not long before he left WWE...

I think its insane for anyone to think Christian Cage wouldn't continue to be a great worker for T.N.A., as a Main Event star.

When I look at T.N.A.'s roster, & think to myself who they use Main Event wise, & who on that list would drop to midcard status, Christian is NOT a name that comes to mind. People like A.J. Styles, Booker T., Kevin Nash.. those names quickly come to mind, & none more so than Abyss..

But when it comes to Christian, he's proven to be a cornerstone in T.N.A. much like Kurt Angle. And with that, I think he's a valuable part for them, & they'd use him as such. I can't see him dropping to midcard status, unless its to elevate other stars.

But regardless of anything, Christian Cage not only has more of a fit here, than anywhere else.. but I'm almost guaranteeing that he'd become a World Champion again within the year. (before this time next year, I'd be down right shocked if he wasn't Champion again)

I hate to say it but I see him getting sick of being misused into TNA and going back to WWE somewhen down the line. When Edge is champ, complaining about beating everyone and having no new fresh challenges, then Christian appears on the ramp and the rest is pretty self explanatory!

it would take a lot of money and a lot of promises... bear in mind wwe had him throwing temper tantrums and losing to DDP. it would either take a very good contract or a promise of the title with TNA misusing him for him to even consider going back.

having said that... did he not say he left on good terms and would consider going back at some stage
