Chris Sabin Out Until 2012?

– Chris Sabin will be sidelined until 2012 after tearing both the ACL and MCL in his knee during a match last month on iMPACT!. He underwent surgery on his injured knee earlier this month.

Sabin suffered the injury during a match against Anarquia at the April 20 iMPACT! taping. He went for a springboard clothesline and tweaked his knee when the Mexican America member was out-of-position to receive the maneuver. The referee was instructed to end the match when it appeared Sabin was injured.

Well then, isn't this bad news for Alex Shelley? Just as he makes it back from an Injury, Sabin gets injured. So what does this mean for the future of the MCMG? Obviously, when Sabin finally returns, it's going to be a great MCMG reunion, very much long awaited. However, Shelley could have maybe 6 months, to even 18 months without Sabin. So what happens with him? Does he just disappear off of the radar? What will become of him in the near future? We've not seen him on TNA TV for a while.

No big loss. MCMG have been off TV for a while. No one's going to miss them much, if at all.

He'll be missed at Destination X. I'd never been the biggest fan of Sabin's, but recently I've been getting behind him. It was after he hit a devastating lariat on Amazing Red a couple months ago. I think he'd be better off as a singles wrestler in the X Division.

Yeah, but he needs to go back to the old Shelley. May be turn him heel, though he seems like he needs to be at least a tweener or some sort. He's been way to serious for to long.

Always thought Sabin was better then Shelly. Its time for Shelly to make a name for himself and build the X Division.
