Thoughts?

Father Ted being number 1 isn't something I can disagree with. If the top 5 had been Ted, Peep Show, Black Books, Spaced and The Inbetweeners then I would have been very happy. IT Crowd just had to ruin it.

Black Books, The IT Crowd and Father Ted in the top four? Too much Graham Linehan for my liking.

Brass Eye should be in the top three, at least

It was a fantastic comedy as was 'The Day Today' that is not even mentioned.

Father Ted being number 1 isn't something I can disagree with. If the top 5 had been Ted, Peep Show, Black Books, Spaced and The Inbetweeners then I would have been very happy. IT Crowd just had to ruin it.

The IT crowd is far superior to the inbetweeners in my opinion.

C4 is 30 years old in November? ... damn, I'm getting old! Oh well, onto topic -

No 'Whose Line Is It Anyway'? This was one of Channel4's first original comedies and so successful that it spawned it's own American version hosted by WWe HoFer (sic) Drew Carey.

My other major quibble would be the lowly ranking of 'Drop The Dead Donkey' which was a brilliant satire on the news biz.

No complaints about the number1 though, 'Father Ted' was truly inspired - "Down with this sort of thing!" "Careful now" will forever be etched in my memory from doing security at Oxegen as one of my fellow guards spent a good part of the weekend full and spent the whole of the last night saying "Careful now" to every punter who walked through the entrance/ exit to see if he'd get the required response (and threw it in himself on many occasions too:lmao:).
