Cena & Cryme Tyme?

me personaly i think this would be the start of a good stable, chain gang. ena has ben dubd the chain gang general for how long now, generals i thought lead a group of ppl a leader. so the stable chain gang cena the leader, crime tyme the tag team and somewhere down the line find some mid carder to throw in. yes i no theres talk about the 2nd gen. stable starting and maybe 2 heel stables at 1 time might be bad but still just a thought. and change it up from how the typical stable breaks up with the mid carder getting fed up and going after the leader, have shad break from the group and go after the mid carder in the group that may have the IC title (im not saying put kingston in the stable) i think alot would agree that shad would prob be good on his own. have cena turn on punk next week, raw is in need of a top heel, we've already had two faces going after each other on raw for the title for how long now. but saying that it would seem more likable that batista would turn heel and attach punk saying that the only reason he won the title was kuz of him taking out edge but still i like the thought of cena and cryme time together and a heel stable called chain gang

yea a group with cena and cryme tyme would be great. but, what better way for cryme tyme to turn heel? they form a group and it last for a month or so. then, they get tired of cena tryin to be a thug, so they show how what a thug is. with their cocky attitude, and shads size, it could work. vicious beatdowns, sneak attacks, just let them be street thugs. it may be a stereotype, but does that matter to vince? probably not

I've been wondering why they didn't do this a long time ago. It just seemed like a perfect fit.

I don't think we can get ahead of the situation fellas. It sure sounds like a good idea, but Cryme Tyme continues to pop up here and there, this could have just been the best choice for this one moment where Cena could fight off JBL's thugs. Otherwise, I think at most we will see them help again if the same situation arises. I highly doubt this is a future stable

That's foolish thinking, Matty boy.

Cryme Tyme and John Cena appearing at the top of the stage last night has got to be one of the biggest "Now why the hell didn't they think of that sooner?!" moments I've experienced on Raw in a long long time. It just makes sense to put them together. I don't about the name "Chain Gang", as mentioned in an above post... But it just makes sense to have them together. It IS an excellent way to turn the only tag team in the WWE that people actually LIKE turn heel, if Vince & co. so desire.

It's got real potential. People love Cryme Tyme, people love Cena. This could be one crrrrrazy money maker.

It makes more sense with these guys together than it does to put Lance Cade with Chris Jericho.

Y'know, kids, Cena could have just purchased Cryme Tyme's services (a la the old APA) to help him combat the "martial law" practices of one John "Bradshaw" Layfield. Now, I loved the team, and I was in the same boat as most of you, but Cryme Tyme just hasn't had any run on TV since they came back except to chant "money, money, yeah yeah!".

Here's to hoping they give DiBiase and Rhodes some challenge and reinvigorate the tag team division, which is on life support as we speak.

for some reason i get the feeling that, with no GM and Vince being down for a while, that this will end up being the start of faction control over the show, with wrestlers siding with either cena or JBL. and i personally don't mind this idea, it's almost a throwback to the attitude era, and we all know that was the best the wwe has ever done, so why not try it again?

Then once Vince returns to TV have him take back control of Raw with his own faction with the first member being the Undertaker.

this could be a great dx style faction with cryme tyme and cena staying faces against vince

I don't think they need a fourth in this group. They've got an interesting dynamic with just the three of them. A redux of the DX vs. Corperation feud would also be a wonderful throwback. I think Cryme Tyme will steal the tag titles from DiBiase & Rhodes and make them take it back; it is a Martial Law show after all.

Not sure if Cryme Tyme will just steal the belts from Team Priceless, but I certainly agree that if Cryme Tyme are going to be involved in this Cena/JBL feud, then DiBiase and Rhodes are certainly the logical heel team to align with JBL. Their respective "money" gimmicks should mesh together beautifully. It would be fun to see a throw-back "faction war" storyline, but I'll settle for anything that makes me care about the tag belts again and provides a compelling, non-WHC (weird using that for RAW now) based storyline

iwold like to see.. cena challenge jbl for e title (jbl wins at teh bash) and cryme time batle for tag titles..its thugs vs money!

guarantee this will be a random one time thing, i wish it wasn't but just knowing the wwe i reckon it will be unfortunately, would love to see stable war like the ministry vs the corporation or Dx vs the nation again but i can't see it happening.

Don't forget about the Ron "the Truth" Killings. Does he fit into this faction/stable/whatever you want to call it?

hahaha the day we see Ron Killings in a stable with Cena is the day I rim Vince

I am assuming that you are talking about their "heat". Never say never in the WWE. Hell C.M. Punk "won" the title last night. If Edge and Matt Hardy could be put together after all that went down, why not Cena and Killings. It's better than not being on TV and doing dark matches/FCW. Killings new Cena worked there when he signed the contract?

The difference is Hardy and Edge were in a fued, stemming from their own personal fued that we all knew of. Bringing it to storyline made great viewing and brought a sense of realism to WWE at the time. Whereas Killings and Cena hugging and giving eachother a "pound" would look stupid IMO. Vince et al probably don't even know about Cena & Killing's heat.

Glad someone else sees this. This thread makes it seam like it's a guarantee this is a new stable. People forget that stuff like this happens all the time where some guy needs a little help and you see random people who have no other storyline get involved, not to form a stable, but to just even the odds in the moment. I hate to be so pessimistic, but it's been so long since the tag titles mattered, since the IC belt mattered, and since there's been a stable. It just seems that with already a draft of fresh competition, there will be no need in the current ways of WWE to have a stable. Yes we would all like it, yes there are things I will never understand in how they're handled. I think it's crazy that the only thing that ever matters now is the WHC. Everything else is so distant. I remember back in the day when a stable vs stable was tons more intriguing than a world title match. I remember when the IC title stole the show on so many occasions. I remember when tag teams had such a place in wrestling that they could be the main event! Where did it all go? And why now bring in some new stable to fight off JBL and nobody? Think about it.

Trust me, I hope I am proven wrong. The whole Ted Dibiase/Cody Rhodes thing brings hope, but who will challenge them? Not Santino and Carlito. they are the biggest waste of talent right now in the WWE.

And I would love to be proven wrong on the stable situation too. It would be great if Raw turned into anarchy with gangs and stables trying to reign. Sounds great to us! But when does what sounds great ever happen?

I think it would be great however, I also dont wanna get a head of myself as much as I dont want to agree with someone whose sig says hulk still rules I feel must on this. There are random pairings all the time that mean nothing other then evening the odds remembe when Cena teamed with DX everyone thought he was a new member of DX. Again I would like for this to happen but I dont think we should get a head of ourselves.

It's a great idea. And it seems that's exactly why WWE won't even think of doing it.

this is what i would like to see Cena and Cryme Tyme. Also they could add Punk to the group , but now that can't happen. I was going to say give Cena the World as the leader of the stable. put that IC Title on the mid crd Punk then have World Tag Champs Cryme Tyme it would be great that would be another great WWE stable.

I'm just liking the fact that the WWE now realizes that Cena is the star of the company, and are using his star power to rub off on other guys.

I think it is a GREAT Idea, Cryme Tyme need a push to help that Tag Division

I like how Raw is starting off so far after the draft

seems like they are pushing the younger guys which is something they needed to do, I got tired of the same HHH vs Orton and HHH vs Cena fueds, HHH vs Edge fued seems like it could be amazing though
