What, is knowledge passed down genetically now? Awfully close to evolution, isn't it? But no, I'm afraid your mother's knowledge does not qualify you to argue the side better. Well...we all are Wrestling fans, and last I checked a good percentage of them Wrestling Fan's can't understand something longer then 10 minutes and doesn't involve someone doing a flip.
