I think w/ the way there building up carlito I just have this feeling that next yr he will win his first wwe championship. maybe at wrestlemania 23? if you dont agree then exactly who do u think will be wwe champion come next summer? lol I have a feeling everybody would say yea as long as its not john cena still the champ.

agreed, carlito still has in ring talent to gain, and from the looks of it he also needs to build his body, he isnt anywhere near as big as he needs to be to be a world champion, it should at least take 2 years if not more.also he needs more of a move set, i like the flips and elbows he does off the ropes but he just isnt ready for the main event status yet.

*Snort* Orton isn't ready either and since when do you need to be big to be WWE champion? Mysterio and Jericho weren't big. Its that feeling that causes steriod abuse.

Carlito isn't winning any Royal Rumble anytime soon. they are going to pace themselves with him and give him a chance to shine at his current level before building him up. i think they learned from Batista, and Orton. Carlito is going to do what dad was able to to do. His dad has gotten a title pretty much everywhere he's been but he's never won the WWF/E gold cuz he was never there. he was in the NWA and WWC most of his career, although i think Vince would have probably never gave him the gold anyway. i think Carlito will though, 2 years away maybe 3 but nothing less than that.

totally agree! Carlito's exaclty my size, would be pretty cool if i could say I'm as big as the WWE champ lol

Carlito is getting better in ring when he first debuted he never did any jumping off the ropes moves like he does now, seems to pull something new out every few weeks. i still think he stays at the IC title level for awhile though.

I love all the Shelton Benjamin / Carlito matches, and would love to see them face off again for a World Title run if Shelton got better on the mic.

And obviously I would say Carlito / Sabu would create awesome matches, but the feud would be a little lacking in content since mic talking isn't Sabu's strong side lol.

Carlito / HBK = awesome but not World Title material since HBK is past due.

The main opponent Carlito could have an awesome World Title going into Wrestlemania would be HHH to get him over, or Cena just for a great feud (we all love seeing Cena get his ass kicked don't we ?).
