Can Jericho Help Ziggler reach the next level?

Jericho is perfect man to take Ziggler to next level as he will give a great match at Summerslam and will help him with Promo's but they have make Ziggler get a clean win or otherwise it won't make a differance.

Chris Jericho can get anybody over, seriously. But I do think that he's the perfect one to do so for Ziggler and I think they can not only put on some excellent matches but it'll be a great feud that'll boost Dolph's stock big time. Just what we saw last night on Raw where Dolph had the rare opportunity to actually deliver a promo for more than 30 seconds, that alone had me extremely pumped for these two mixing it up.

I was thinking after MITB that the next thing Chris would be doing is turning face and getting some wins finally but it looks like we'll get about half of that. This feels alot like the Booker T and Cody Rhodes feud, Chris will get a win but Ziggler will come out on top in the feud after a PPV or two. No matter what happens though I expect a great feud with some awesome promos(Dolph getting to work on his) and brilliant matches, very excited for it.

I hate to echo what others have previously said, but, I will. Jericho's lack of a stellar return has made the possibility of him making Ziggler a star all but impossible. I do understand that Jericho wants to help put others over and admire that. He's an upper level jobber at best and having Ziggler win against Jericho at this point in his career will not give him any more credibility heading into the main events. And I am a Jericho fan, have been since his WCW days until currently. WWE needs to repair what damage they've done with Jericho or else his jobbing means nothing.

That being said, if done right I do believe Ziggler could learn alot from working with Jericho. It might give him a better understanding of what he's lacking and needs to get to that next level. The matches between them would be excellent, no doubt. But, we all know how it ends; Jericho loses AGAIN. It's horrible when that's the norm for anything Chris Jericho related because he's better than that.

If WWE really want to get Ziggler over, he has to beat higher ups. Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, John Cena. Maybe even brief interaction with a returning Rock? All of which would do more to increase Zig's cred with fans.

I do not agree at all. Even if Ziggler looses this Feud or is beaten the majority of matches during this Feud.....I believe the Rub from Jericho alone would do nothing but good for his career.

Jercho's return was indeed lacklustre, but whichever way you put it he has a HoF career that people still remember. Jericho lost matches to the WWE Champion, the Heavyweight Champion and a series of Number1 contenders, not Heath Slater. To me Jericho still looks strong and an oponent to be feared and respected.

Ziggler directly pointed out Jericho's recent problems during his below average (but indeed getting there) promo....and Jericho I am sure will come back next week with an above average Promo that makes us all feel he means business.....Watch and see, this will be an Orton/Christian like Feud of the year Candidate if the WWE let them.

I'd rather see Ziggler get the World Heavyweight Title first, then beat Sheamus again in the rematch to build himself up. I think a wrestler than can build themselves up on their own look stronger than Legends who we all know are great who help the future generations out by lookiing weak. That said, after Zigglerdefends his title, I want to see Jericho challenge Ziggler and take the belt from him. Then Jericho should walk away from the WWE for good as the guy that beat the guy that is better than Bret Hart.

This would be an excelent program for the following weeks. A match at Summerslam would be a great way to settle the score. Maybe Ziggler steals a victory on Raw 1000 and at Summerslam, Jericho beats Ziggler, without harming Ziggler's momentum at all. A great way to put Ziggler over and turn Jericho face. If it is put early in the card, then it would be perfect timing for Ziggler to cash in on Sheamus after his match. Ziggler isn't my favorite, but I am definitely impressed at him.

If the WWE screws up and does not go with this, maybe Ziggler could cash in on Raw 1000 and set up a WHC match at Summerslam between Ziggler and Jericho.

Fav 5: Punk, Bryan, Rhodes, RVD, Barrett

Ziggler needs to carry his end of a feud, outside of the ring as well as inside. He's solid in the ring, but he does very little to generate the heat necessary to make him a serious heel. He's subpar on the mike.

Jericho got the raw end of the deal when he came back. WWE Uncreative were determined to have him on the backburner when he came in and he ends up being blamed for it ? He is really good at bringing the best out of performers and it could only help Ziggler to work with Jericho. I just hope Dolph knows to take some notes.

I think it could elevate Ziggler in the LONG run, personally it won't work as a short term boost to Ziggler's credibility (Apart from being considered good enough to work in a program with Jericho). For this to truly work out, they need to build up Jericho using Ziggler as the motivation for this. Put Jericho on a winning streak, have Ziggler taunt him as the young pretender claiming the aging Jericho hasn't got it anymore. Putting them in a match together any time soon will not work, as mentioned in other posts; Ziggler losing to a guy who hasn't won anything since his return puts Ziggler even lower, Ziggler beating a guy who hasn't won anything since his return adds nothing to him. It's a Lose, Lose, Situation...which is why Jericho needs a hot streak to the point that Ziggler will use every excuse in the book to avoid getting in the ring with Jericho. It's the only way I can see this working out, as either one of them beating each or clean or not will kill this off before it's started. Ziggler has the "money in the bank" to hang onto as weight behind him, Jericho needs something more than his 'past' as make weight in this feud an a currency to elevate Ziggler.
