IF he is the future then there future is in trouble. Have you seen this guy play. He's a six foot two girl who cant play d and right now cant make a shot. Thats how he's been since he got to the nba, he coulb be a great scorer but its just to sparatic to be someones future. Its his third season and he came in after his junior season in college the time is now. Hinrich, thomas, and next years draft pick is there futre every one else is exspendible.PauLwaLL said:They wont get rid of Gordon.. Hes there future.. If they got rid of anyone or anything, it be a draft pick.. PJ Brown still produces for being 37 I believe and so does Wallace.. People need to get over the fact that he isnt a scoring threat.. He never was.. Hes there to play D and get Boards, and hes doing so.. The one thing they need is a star player.. Once they get that.. Then Bulls = NBA Championship
JR Smith was the main piece in that trade brown was just a pond that the bulls could use. Browns trade value alone doesnt equal chandlers alone and you would be crazy to think you could get anyone worth anything in a straight up deal with brown.PauLwaLL said:He's 37. What could you get for him? The Hornets got Tyson Chandler for him (and JR Smith) so it's not like he's not tradeable.I'm not suggesting that he should be traded but it's not like he's not still someone that could be of value to a team.
i agree with you bot it wont come via a trade for brown or wallace. the best piece they have is gordon while his value is still high enough they could get a young post player of equal value ie. a Sean May who have shown the ability to score in the post when giving playing time. The bobcats have Primo a center and okafor at the four, who is playing like a beast in side of late, Melvin ely and jake voskul come of the bench so they have enough size inside to spare May. They are also looking for more scoreing punch and until Morrinson figures it out they dont have much there. Ben gordon would really help out there. I really like may potential that would be a great trade for both tems cause the bulls wouldnt lose much cause they have a gang of perimiter players.PauLwaLL said:They need a lost post scorer and they really don't have that.
Isiah Thomas wasnt a superstar? and Joe dumars isnt in the hall of fame for nothing. I dont care what you say but the 04 pistons won with four all star. Ben was an all star that year and he was like 2nd or third team all nba that year. Rasheed was just an all star like two years before that and Billups and Hamilton was on there way to all star games. they were all star players. And even if I give you the 04 piston for what ever reason no way on the 89 team, give me more then one time were a starless team ever won. you need stars. Hinrich is a star in the making, and thomas has the potetential to be a smaller Amare Stoudamire, thats why I say that they're a year awayPauLwaLL said:star player doesnt just =championship. Plus you don't even need a superstar to win a championship...The Pistons proved that in 89-90 and 04
