Dark Match Jobber
I saw that Buff will be doing a couple house shows for TNA and it is a possibility that he could return to wrestling again. But what kind of an impact would Buff make and is he in good enough shape to perform at a high capacity.

He wouldn't make any impact whatsoever.

Let's face it, he wasn't even that huge of a name in WCW. He's not that old and he could still put on a decent match. But what's a guy like Buff Bagwell gonna do for TNA? You could bring in the most minutely popular luchador from Mexico and he'd have much more impact than Buff

^Agreed. Buff had an over gimmick towards the end of the nineties, but it didn't go past that at all. Don't get me wrong, Marc Bagwell had some in-ring ability back in the day, but I still get chills when I think about his one night wrestling on Raw, I believe it was. Uggh. Even when Bagwell was younger he was saddled with some of the worst gimmicks around. Anyone remember The American Males? Freaking epic, man. I think Buff moved pretty well, and his finisher was a solid one, but he was never really seen as a credible threat in WCW so his character doesn't hold any luster for any kind of a worthy return. I always just thought of him as "the funny one" in the NWO.

LOL Bagwell was totally "the funny one" of the NWO next to Nash on a good night... but Bagwell shouldn't be wrestling anymore... the dude has had more major injuries than some of the guys who've been in the business since the 80s... that says something about him right there... he's a broken leg away from TNA getting sued into the ground... however... I would pay to see Angle crush him in a match just to say I saw Bagwell get his ankle snapped on TV... *nods*

Bagwell is sort of an egnigma.. He has so much talent but he was either always getting in trouble or getting hurt, he had loads of talent and I still think he does. On the other hand Bagwell has always been a tag wrestler... Weather it be with 2 Cold Scorpio in the start of his career, or with Scotty Riggs as the American Males or with Scott Stiener as a tag team with NwO... So if he comes back to TNA he needs a tag partner, maybe they can pair him back up with Stiener since Jarrett is taking a leave from the ring. Also I saw Bagwell a few months back, and he is still in great shape and he is still wrestling the indy scence around VA,NC,SC,GA.. SO he can do it. Here is a link to see a picture of Buff from a few months ago...

More major injuries than some of the guys who have been in the business since the eighties? What, the whole ONE major injury being that Rick Steiner broke his freakin' neck? It wasn't the injury bug that kept Bagwell away from being a big player in WCW, it was his attitude. It was scuffles with the Police and WCW management that constantly put a halt to most of his pushes, and yes WCW did try their hardest at times to push him. The beginning of the "Revolution" Stable, the New Blood, and Flair's run as President that saw him give the US Title to David; they all saw a strong push for Buff that he handled pretty decently until his actions outside of the ring put a halt to them.

To me, from the interviews I've gathered Buff is really trying hard to change that all around and work for a second chance. He went on record as saying the biggest thing he regreted in his career was blowing his opportunity in the WWE. They gave Scott Steiner a second chance after a WWE run that almost completely killed his credibilty and it did wonders to put "Big Poppa Pump" on the map. Search for Bagwell on Youtube and you'll find some of his recent indy work, the guy is in tremendous shape. As far as him "getting back in" to wrestling, he's never really stopped. He's been working in Italy for Rikishi's promotion, and scattered indies all over the US and Canada. Everyone deserves a second chance, and I'd be glad to see Bagwell get one in TNA.

I am going to one of the shows he is going to be at...not sure if he is wrestling or not, it just says making an appearance. I wish it was Angle making an appearance, but oh well. Yeah, Buff had a good gimmick, had the physique, and was pretty decent in the ring. i wouldn't mind seeing him in TNA one bit

:) Yeah, I still get a monster belly laugh when I remember Bagwell referring to Norman Smiley as Warren Moon. Then he laughed his maniacal cackle while wearing that funny top hat and flexing for the chicks.

i like buff he wouldnt be a main eventer but like other said put him in a faction with jarrett and steiner and he would do good
