Various reports are coming in that shortly after Ascension one hundred, WZCW Superstar Veejay was assaulted in the parking lot as he headed toward his rental car.
Fan footage shows a hooded man attacking Veejay from behind. While Veejay did his best to defend himself, the hooded man produced a crowbar and hit Veejay over the head, before proceeding to lock him in a choke hold. The hooded man appeared to be suspended WZCW Superstar James Howard.
Howard, who was recently suspended by WZCW officials, later took to social media to claim responsibility for the attack. He stated he was upset that a returning superstar, Veejay, was given a spot on Ascension 100, while a former champion like himself was left off.
WZCW officials have refused to comment thus far, but early rumors are that the two will square off at the Kingdom Come Pay-Per-View.
