Now that we’re in wrestlemania season what do people see being on the card?
Obviously we already know Rollins vs Lesnar and Lynch (Vs possibly flair in the mix) vs Rousey but other than that nothing’s set in stone.
With talk of Balor vs Taker and HHH Vs Batista that adds two more but that still leaves a lot of space on the show and pre-show.
I’d personally like to see:
-Ryder and Hawkins get their win for a mini wrestlemania moment over someone (Lucha house party?).
-Rusev win a title at the big show and hold onto it more than a month.
-Asuka in a multi women title defence as no one female wrestler left on sd that’s not booked compares to her.
-The Revival winning/retaining titles vs Gable/Roode (Even if it’s a pre show).
-Shane and miz lose titles to someone who deserves it (Uso’s/new day).
-McIntyre vs Strowman with McIntyre cleanly winning.
-Bryan vs AJ ladder match with bludgeon brothers in Bryan’s corner and Gallows/Anderson in AJ’s corner.
-Almas vs Mysterio
-Andre the giant battle royal with someone that usually gets unduly overlooked getting a win.
-some slight comic relief from Elias (would be funny but to have a guitar battle with Tanahashi’s air guitar and La Parkas chair, but that’s fantasy booking).

Do people even see an IC or US title defence? WWE seems to disregard any pride that they once had.

Reigns needs to be kept as far away from the main events and the end of the card as possible. Start the show with a big title match and a fan pop moment, while Roman's popularity is at an undeserved all-time high. If Dean is staying, give them a lengthy title run. If he does leave, write him off with an injury after a few weeks and vacate the titles.

Shane/Miz is not a WrestleMania-worthy match. Sorry, Miz. Miz should have been competing for the WWE Championship this year, but apparently Shane wants the spotlight. Rather than have them split before WM and fight here, I'd have the split occur here. Either way, the Usos absolutely MUST retain their titles here.

8) John Cena vs. Kurt Angle:

Similar to Flair/HBK from WM24, Angle wants to go out against the best and challenges Cena to a matchup on the grandest stage of them all. Cena gets the victory to build back some momentum for him, and end Angle's career against a man whose career he helped start.

9) WWE Championship - Daniel Bryan (C) vs. Kofi Kingston:

As much as I'd love to be there live for the reaction of Kofi Kingston winning the WWE Championship in front of 80,000+, I just can't see Vince allowing it to happen. There's always one or two major heel wins at the biggest show of the year, and I simply can't see any scenario where Vince McMahon lets Kofi Kingston win the most prestigious title in wrestling at the biggest show of all time.

10) Universal Championship - Brock Lesnar (C) (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Seth Rollins:

Lesnar's death-grip on RAW's top prize is suffocating the show, stunting storylines, and hurting business. When the business suffers, a change is necessary. It's Seth Rollins's time to shine.

11) Triple H vs. Batista:

Personally, I'm VERY excited for this. Triple H and Batista are much bigger stars than when this match first happened 14 years ago, and will certainly put on a better match than the crapfest we got at WrestleMania 21. It's time for The Game to put The Animal down, once and for all.

12) Triple Threat Match for the RAW Women's Championship - Ronda Rousey (C) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch:

Will a women's match close WrestleMania for the first time? I think this is the best possible time for it to happen. With Becky's immense popularity, WWE would be crazy not to capitalize on it. Have Becky win by forcing Charlotte to tap, keeping Ronda protected, then move Ronda to SmackDown to dominate there. A one-on-one Ronda vs. Becky match could easily headline next year's WrestleMania.

*Usos need this match! After carrying the tag team division for almost 10 years, it would be awesome to see them finally get their Wm moment. Don't ruin it by adding more teams.

*If it was up to me, I would scrap this match and have Miz win the ATGBR with Shane supporting Miz on the outside. I love the Miz but no one WANTS to see this match, at least not at Wrestlemania. Save it for whatever ppv that is after WM.

Match 5: US championship - R-truth(c) vs Rey Mysterio vs Andrade Cien Almas vs Samoa Joe
*Winner: Samoa Joe or Andrade

Match 6: Randy Orton vs AJ Styles (winner: AJ)

Match 7: Lashley, Corbin, Drew Mcintyre, & Elias vs Reigns, Ambrose, Strowman, & Wyatt (faces win)
*I wish they would not rush Roman back but if he just HAS to be on the card, this keeps him from doing much work.

Match 8: WWE Championship - Daniel Bryan(C) w/ Rowan vs. Kofi Kingston w/ New Day (Winner: Daniel Bryan)
*I am torn because I feel like if Kofi does not win here, he will never win. With that said, what I would do is have Kofi lose at Wm and win the MITB match the following month in May. There is so much potential with New Day holding the MITB briefcase and it feels like it has been a while since someone has done anything memorable with the briefcase.

Match 9: Universal Championship - Brock Lesnar (C) (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Seth Rollins (winner: Rollins)
*Shield celebration. Raw after WM, Lesnar is upset and gets in a fight with Bobby Lashley (who walked out on his team at WM).

Match 10: IC Championship - Finn Balor vs Kurt Angle (winner: Finn Balor)
*Just a nice feel good match.

Match 11: Batista vs Triple H (winner: HHH)
*apart of me is hoping Randy gets added to this match. I was in the minority but I actually wanted an Evolution triple threat match at Wm 30 (hard to believe that was 5 years ago already). The way the story is set up and the fact that Triple H has never beaten Batista, Triple H winning seems obvious.

Match 12: Triple Threat Match for the RAW Women's Championship - Ronda Rousey (C) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch
*Winner: anyone but Charlotte. Ronda winning here would be great for mainstream media. Becky winning could potentially create a star. I am ok with either.

A bit difficult to get everyone on the card but I think my card looks possible. If 15 matches is a bit much (1 more than last year's WM), they can either get rid of the Balor match and have him replace Bray or as I previously mention, get rid of the Shane vs Miz match.

2. Women's Battle Royal (If they insist on pushing Lacey Evans, give her the win here, rather than a title match she doesn't deserve just yet.)

3. Cruiserweight Title: Buddy Murphy vs. Drew Gulak (Go with a fresh matchup, either Gulak or Nese. Or, after something happens in the #1 Contender Tournament finale, Drake Maverick takes the match for himself, turning Murphy face and Maverick the 205 Live heel he should be for character continuity.)

4. Street Fight: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn (Zayn costs KO the Fastlane match to set this up. Start this match to end the pre-show, have them brawl throughout the arena, outside, wherever, then have it end back in the arena midway through the main show.)

WrestleMania 35 Main Card

1. Smackdown Tag Titles: The Usos vs Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose (Upon his return, Roman and Seth came to the rescue of Dean, who said some harsh things about Roman's battle against leukemia. The Usos question Roman about how he can just let it go, setting-up this feud.)

3. Smackdown Women's Title: Asuka vs. Charlotte (As much as Charlotte adds to the quality of the Raw title match, this is the match Asuka deserves, a rematch from the year before, except with the roles reversed.)

4. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe (The Miz vs. Shane himself just isn't WM-worthy in terms of the expected quality, but the storyline is there. Have Shane turn on Miz at Fastlane with the help of Joe. The whole Shane-Miz relationship started with Shane standing-in for Miz, now Shane flips the script and has someone else do his bidding. Shane's stand-in could also be EC3 or Lars Sullivan.)

5. Raw Tag Team Title Match: The Revival vs. The Hardy Boyz (The Revival can claim that they own victories over every other Raw tag team, so they want to battle any team from ANY brand.)

6. Intercontinental Title Gauntlet Match: Finn Balor vs. Elias vs. Baron Corbin vs. Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Lio Rush vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet vs. Aleister Black (Rather than the usual ladder match or Fatal Four-Way, something different, hopefully with the same results as the most recent gauntlet matches, in a fraction of the time.)

7. Women's Tag Team Title Match: Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Trish Stratus & Lita (They could also go with a Four-Way featuring these two, The Riott Squad and either The IIconics or Fire & Desire, but the card is already loaded with multi-man matches and this is a dream match. Maybe a squash against The IIconics, followed by an open challenge answered by the legends.)

8. Retirement Match: John Cena vs. Kurt Angle (Cena wins to bring things full-circle with Angle in terms of career storyline arc.)

9. HHH vs. Batista

10. World Heavyweight Title Match: Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan

11. Universal Title Match: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar (Ref bump, Drew, Lashley, Corbin and Elias try to interfere, Strowman and Reigns cut them off, ultimately entire locker room comes out. Heyman tries to get involved, Dean makes that save, gives Seth the win and Dean just walks off. The entire face locker room celebrates with Seth.)

12. Raw Women's Title Submission Match: Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey

** Undertaker officially retires. There's a gathering in the ring, as many of those who he's fought at WM, or Tamina in the case of Snuka, are invited in the weeks leading up to it to come to some unknown event at WM35. (Those involved in other matches don't appear.) They all gather in the ring, Undertaker comes down, not saying a word, but just staring them down. He circles back to Bray Wyatt and there's a passing of the torch. As Taker heads to the back, the lights go out, the sounds of crows. Sting joins him onstage to raise his hand.

2) Women's Battle Royal - Winner Ember Moon (she should be moved to Smackdown after Mania and feud with Asuka, their feud was great in NXT and could be solid on the main roster to).
3) Cruiserweight Title Match - Buddy Murphy vs. Mike Kanellis w/Maria - Have Kanellis win Gold and start a nice feud between the 2 post Mania

Main Show
1) AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton - have this match start the show with Styles going over if he resigns. He needs to get back in the spotlight and maybe moved to Raw after Mania for some fresh feuds
2) Asuka (C) vs. Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville - make this match a triple threat to add some intrigue but have Asuka retain in the end.
3) Ladder Match for both Raw & Smackdown Tag Titles - Revival vs. Uso's vs. Black/Richocet vs. New Day vs. The Bar vs. The Hardy's. Winners Raw - The Uso's (nice way to switch them back to Raw), Smackdown - Black & Richochet (nice way to keep them very relevant)
4) Banks/Bailey (C) vs. The Bella Twins - I think this makes more sense then Trish and Lita as then you can have the Bella's work as heels and start a nice feud here. Not sure if they want to make a full time return but the build up for this match could be solid. Probably have the faces retain though. They deserve an extended run as champs.
5) Balor/Angle/Stroman vs. McIntyre/Lashley/Corbin - filler match with the heels going over build them as the new dominant 3 person group after beating The Shield at Fastlane
6) D. Bryan (C) vs. Owens vs. Kofi vs. B. Wyatt (Fatal 4 way for WWE Title)
* Bryan retains as he's to hot to take the belt off now. A Wyatt vs. Bryan feud should be the focus going forward. Kofi and Owens could segway into chasing the US Title.
7) Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose
* regardless if Ambrose stays or goes have him cost the Shield at Fastlane by hitting Reigns from behind. Reigns goes over here and if Ambrose stays have him pair up with the AOP and have them terrorize Reigns & Rollins going forward.
8) The Miz vs. Shane McMahon
* after Shane's heel turn at Fastlane he defeats Miz at Mania with interference from EC3. EC3 become's Shane's chosen one and then you have a Miz vs. EC3 feud that can ride out through the summer.
9) Samoa Joe (C) vs. John Cena (US Title Match)
* Joe retains in an interesting match that turns out to be one of the best matches on the card.
10) Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Seth Rollins
* Great match but I think in terms of the product you need Rollins to go over here. Maybe some interference from Heyman and reverse interference from Reign but either way the end result needs to be Lesnar not being champion anymore.
11) HHH vs. Batista
An all out brawl from start to finish with Batista going over. Maybe we get Brock vs. Batista at Summerslam???
12) Rousey (C) vs. Charlotte vs. Becky (Raw Women's Title)
I would swerve here and have Rousey go over. Have Becky have her in the armbar and have Shayna Baszler hit the ring for the distraction. Then Rousey pins Lynch. Make this a singles feud that extends out after Mania eventually building towards the 4 Horsewomen vs. 4 Horsewomen at Survivor Series.
