Booker T: Cokehead?

Well I just finished watching last night's Impact, and I just cannot believe what I have heard. When Scott Steiner and Booker T came out to do audio commentary...good GOD could anyone understand a single word Booker T was saying?

The man sounded like a mentally ******ed crocodile farmer with a cleft palate who was high on cocaine. I wasn't sure if he was even speaking a language or just shouting out any gibberish that came out of his head. Honestly, out of the like 6 or 7 minutes of talking he did, I understood all of 2 words. "Tag team" and "Jimmy-jam-joomy-joom-jum-jim-jam-jimmy" which apparently refers to James Storm.

So I ask you...Booker T....high on coke? Lobotomized prior to the show? You decide.

I think lobotomy falls under that definition.

Seriously though, did you hear him speaking? At first it was mildly amusing, but after 5 minutes of gibberish I wanted to reach into the TV and strangle him.

I haven't watch this week's Impact yet, but I watched it last week and he was occasionally in the background of Angle's segments speaking in that annoying voice. I was getting pretty pissed at him too and that was only 30 seconds worth of him at a time.

Maybe I'll just put my TV on mute if it's as bad as you say.

You have to hear to believe it. Remember that farmer guy in The Waterboy who spoke nothing but gibberish? Yeah, that's basically what he sounded like.

xfear...this would require that people watch TNA. Clearly, no one does this.

I think he gets too caught up in his character and just goes insane with it, you see it in a lot of his promos. There's passion, and there's way too much.

Agreed Harthan, it just was too much. I literally turned the volume on my television all the way up, paused it and rewound it several times and still had no fucking clue what he was saying. Like I said, all I heard were the words "tag team" and "Jimmy-jam-joom-joom-jamba-juice-jameson" which I'm guessing was his nickname for James Storm.

So i watched TNA last night, and this part came on as soon as i switched it to the show, and Booker sounded like he was both on coke and and a lobotomy, shit was absolute ramblings it midly made me laugh.

He's showing range so he can land acting roles. No, seriously, that's what's why he does different voices.

I was never a fan of Booker's promos, and they only got worse once he tried accents and the King shtick. He thoroughly pissed me off whenever he grabbed a mic then. It got worse in TNA...

Ya, it was awful. It's not the first time though, he usually yells something random like "Mafia Baby" when Angle is cutting a promo.
