Vince comes out to the ring with 20 minutes left in the show, and as he is about to announce the wrestler of the year, we hear........... DX THEME MUSIC! Shawn Michaels and HHH come out to a huge pop! Vince, for once isn't frowning or mad, he is smiling. HBK and HHH walk down the ramp and into the ring. They say that for the past year and a half they have been making one time appearances and backstage interview and all that. but now, they are back! for good! DX then poses in the ring a little before giving the mic back to vince who announces Triple H as the Wrestler of the year. Triple H really happy as he takes his trophy! BUT OUT OF NOW WHERE, As HHH is turning around, MICHAELS gives him SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Micheals is pissed and grabs the mic from vince. He goes on to say how he planned all this and is sick and tired of bring HHH's bitch. The show then ends.
HHH and HBK go on to have a long feud with them splitting the matches 2-2. At the Royal Rumble, HBK gets eliminated but the referee doesn't see, while HHH is argueing, he gets tossed over, HBK goes on to win the rumble. At no way out, Triple H wins the elimination chamber once again, at wrestlemania there is a triple threat with Edge vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels with HBK coming out on top.
There you have it, an HBK heel champion turn.
